Without You (Markiplier fanfic rewrite)

One: Welcome to California

The drive from Utah to California was a long one. But at least my car get wonderful gas mileage!

Why move to California you might ask, well long story short I have an opportunity to be an editor. I went to school to be a animator which was something I became fascinated with after watching of course Disney movies. After graduating I had planned on moving here anyway but what really kick started it for me was getting a job with the Game Grumps as editor. Fan girls moment aside I know the job was going to be daunting but I was more then prepared for it. I could not wait to gain experience with this wonderful job.

I stuffed what I could in the trunk and backseat of my Dodge Dart and hit the road managing to make it to Cali in the allotted 10 or so hours it took to drive. I found an inexpensive appointment to live in and my mom and step dad will be driving the rest of my stuff up here by tomorrow.  For the night I was staying with Arin and Suzy for the night which will be interesting to say the least.

Pulling up to their house, Suzy exited the front door and waved at me with a huge smile. I got out of the car and she immediately pulled me into a hug "It's so good to finally meet you, thanks for coming all the way out here so soon"

I smiled back at her "It's no problem thanks for hosting me for the night. I should be the one thanking you guys".

I grabbed my bag from my car and followed her into the house. The house was decorated beautifully with all the different taxidermy Suzy has done and Arin's game and collectibles. Suzy showed me to the guest room where I freshen up from my long drive before we headed over to the Grump space.

I followed Suzy in my car so I could somewhat learn the best way to get back and forward to work each day seeing as my appointment was not to far away from where Arin and Suzy's house was. We pulled up out front and where immediately greeted by Matt and Ryan from SuperMega as they where leaving for the day.

"Hey Suz. Is this the new editor?" Ryan asked as he placed his things in his car.

"Yup this is Cortney" Suzy introduced me with a smile. I shake either of their hands "It's nice to meet you guys" I smile kindly at the two.

"Well Arin, Dan, Ross and Vernon are still here. Also Ethan and Mark stopped by for a bit" Matt said as he climbed into his car.  Suzy nodded before linking arms with me to head into the office "Awesome I haven't seen those guys in a bit" Suzy said cheerfully as I waved goodbye to Ryan and Matt.

Climbing up the stairs to the Grumps space Suzy used her key card to unlock the door for us and it was a complete sensory overload. The space was huge and decorated with so many awesome things that I couldn't keep my eyes on one thing for to long "Welcome to the Grump space, I'm sure that tomorrow Arin or Jack will have received your keycard for the door." Suzy started to explain as she toured me though the office.  There was a large open space with a couple of computer desks off to the said and a large couch for streaming. I followed Suzy down the hallway towards what would be my space for editing. Along the was we passed by the recording room where we could hear Arin and Dan still recording. Suzy quietly opened the door and pecked inside.

"Hey Suzy" Dan greeted before Arin paused the recording session.

"Hey I thought I'd show Cortney the Grump space when roughly mostly everyone was gone for the day" Suzy explained as we entered the room.

"Oh cool" Dan said before getting off the couch "It's great to finally meet you, Arin showed us your animations and they where amazing" Dan said giving me a hug.

Trying to save myself from fangirling I smiled back "I'm glad you guys liked them and I'm super grateful for this opportunity to help out with editing"

"Don't mention it, we should be the grateful ones" Arin said also giving me a hug. After a few minutes of talking and laughing we left the recording room and headed towards the kitchen where Arin said Ethan and Mark where hanging out til they finished.

"So this is the kitchen where you can feel free to help yourself to what ever you like during the day" Suzy started to explain as Ethan and Mark watched being gaining her attention "Hey guys Id like you to meet our new editor"...
