Soon Natsu and Rin left the guild for Magnolia's Diner. Leaving Gray, Rowen, and Erza behind. When they arrived at the restaurant they were quickly seated.

"What do you think your gonna get?" Rin asked.

"One of everything" Natsu said, his mouth watering. Rin just laughed at the dragon slayer.

"How do you even manage to eat so much?" Rin chuckled.

"Idk I'm just gifted" Natsu smiled. Then the waitress came by the table.

"Hello gentlemen, my name is saiko, I will be serving you today. Can I start you off with some drinks?" She asked.

" I will have a water and the lovely pinkette will have...."

"I will have fruit punch" Natsu smiled.

"Okie dokie I will be right back with your orders" Saiko said leaving the table.

"Ummm Rin?" Natsu asked as Rin had been staring at him.

"Yes flower" Rin responded. Natsu face contorted into a uncomfortable expression.

"Flower?" Natsu asked.

"Yes flower. Because you-"

"I don't need an explanation" Natsu chuckled. "I just wanted to make it clear that this isn't a date or anything."

Of course Rin has meant for this to be a date, but if he told Natsu that then he would probably keep his distance. So he didn't tell him that.

"Oh this isn't a date! I just wanted to make some new friends you know, since I just joined" Rin fake smiled.

"Oh alright that's fine" Natsu smiled back.

*time skip to after their "get to know" session"

"Thanks for taking me here." Natsu said with his usual grin. "That was a much needed meal."

"No problem flower. If you want to do it again sometime just tell me" Rin said.

"Cool well I'm gonna head back to the guild. Natsu said as he started walking off.

" see ya later" Rin said watching the pinkette walk off.

"You will be mine someday" Rin smirked.
