Connor POV

I was lying on my bed in my cabin when there was a knock at the door. I was the only one in there, the rest of them were at activities. I stood up and opened the door. Outside was Pippi and Lyssa. I got yanked outside by Pippi and pulled halfway across camp. She stopped me once she had made sure no one else was around.

"Did you hear the prophecy?" she asked.

"Nope." I said.

"Rachel gave it this morning. It was:

Four shall go to the world below,

Four shall take a fairly large blow.

The child of the sea, the messengers child,

The children of a fire that's wild.

One shall fall at the keeper's hand,

And sing through hell as if it were sand.

A lone voice can save us all,

Or be the reason that we will fall.

The secret is out and only two can know,

What really is the beast below. " She said.

"We think you are the messenger's child!" Pippi said.

"Okay!" I said.

"That's it. Just okay?" Pippi asked.

"Yeah!" I said.

"So your not worried about any beasts below, or having a secret out, or going to hell?" Lyssa asked.

"Sure, I'm worried about beasts below and secrets out, but not about going to hell." I said, truthfully.

"Why?" Pippi asked.

"Well, one, this person is going to the underworld, and Percy and Annabeth have been through there like a million times, and two, it says that the person will sing. I can't sing for a bag of explosives!" I said.

"Well, I've never heard that one before!" Lyssa said.

"It's true! I've heard him!" Pippi said.

"I am so offended right now!" I said sarcastically.

We walked back to camp and Pippi said she wanted a word. I stepped to the side with her.

"Now. What you do is up to you. Why you do it is also up to you. But know this. If you step one toe out of line, you will be dead." She said. She meant it aswell. She meant it, although I had no idea what she meant it about.
