My Reflection

Ch.2-I'm you.

"Who are you?"I ask the girl.She doesn't answer,instead she smiles and points at me .Before I can ask again she disappears.Then All of sudden I feel someone's hand pull my shoulder for attention.I turn around to see Cara in front of me .I'm startled by what has just happened and Cara can clearly  tell because she asks ,"Are you ok?It looks as if you've just seen someone come back from the dead ."

"Yeah .I'm fine." I say still puzzled at what has just happened.

"Damn.That could of been us you know ,right there .It's weird how life works ,one second you could be walking on your way home and the next your another patient at the hospital ."she says I we examine the scene of the crashed car and fatally injured girl.

"Hey,did you see that girl ??"I ask .
"What girl?"she asks.
"That girl I was just talking with .She looks just like me .It's weird really."I say.
"I don't know what your talking about."she says with a smile .
"Nevermind then."I say and moments later the ambulance arrives bringing back memories of what happened years ago .Everything starts feeling weird and the noise starts fading out.I feel as if I can't move ,and all of sudden I come back to reality .
"We should really head to the parking lot." Cara says and I agree with her .
We arrive at the parking lot and find my car.We get in and leave.I drop Cara off at her house and head home.

I arrive home and sit in my car for a few moments to think about what happened today and keep wondering who that girl was.She looked just like me ,could I have a twin or am I just seeing things?
I finish my thinking and head in the house .As I'm walking in,the scent of empanadas hit my face .I walk towards the kitchen and see my aunt is getting the table ready.

"Hey Mija !" She says with a smile .
"I was just about to call you .Sit down ,grab a plate and some empanadas."

"I'm fine tia ,really ,I just ate."I state and she frowns.

"Well at least just try one ?"she says and I accept .Her face then glows up at my reply.

"So how was your day ?"she asks.

"It was ok.I went to the gym .A girl got ran over in downtown today."I say.

"People have to be more careful in downtown .It like the third incident in the past few weeks."she states nodding her head .

"So Cara came by today asking for you ."she states

" I know.She showed up at the gym."I state.

"Yeah and she also told me that prom is just around the corner and that you don't plan on going .You should really go.It would be a good thing for you .Just think about it .You would look so pretty!" She says and just stay quiet for a moment.

"Yeah And who would I go with anyways ?." I state
" I'm sure someone would be delighted to go with you."she states
"No ,I'm not going .Its just  not my thing ,really tia." I state and decide to pick up my plate and head upstairs .
"Ok just remember I love you!!" She shout as I leave the kitchen .

"Me too!"I shout back.

I wash up and head to my room.I put on some more comfortable clothes and get in my bed.I lay there looking at the ceiling and think about what happened today.I keep wondering who that girl was and why I saw her today.After thinking about it for a while ,I fall asleep .

I wake up to the sound of my alarm .I contemplate whether I should get up or not but then I realize that if I don't get up someone will not be happy so I just get up.I wash up and put on somewhat proper clothes .I decided to go full black today so I put on ripped black jeans with a crop shirt and leather black boots and black jacket.I look at myself in the mirror and decide I don't give a crap about how I look at the moment .I put my hair in a high ponytail and head out the door .I rush down the stairs.I look at the time and realize I should leave or else I will be late for class.
