Red and narrator's pov*

End of flashback*

Red was going through recordings from zim's base.
"Wait! Isn't this like that time l? Are you really worried about him"purple said still eating his chips "just imagine
Those 'hoomans' find our secrets!" Red lied as he frantically went through recordings after recordings
"Bah! For what Zim showed us they're an inferior and stupid species.stop worrying about it!"purple said tossing a chip into his mouth. "I just want to be sure..."red said pushing buttons on a large terminal "I found an old record from his base..." Red said looking closely at the date and time " others will think you care about him!"
Purple said eating his chip as red pushed the play button as the recording started"look! he's fine  talking with that 'hooman' he's always talking about!" Purple said as the recording showed Zim sitting on the couch talking to the standing human infront of him "haha!" They heard Dib laugh smiling "...that smile makes me feel uneasy..." Red said sqwinting looking at the 'hooman'

A bit of a time skip*

Red was now I his private area with a service irk
"Why?! I mean, he's fine!then why he doesn't answer my answers to my calls?!and that,that... that 'earthling'!!!
What was that smile!? Why would anyone smile at Zim like that? ( Besides me obviously!)" Red said frustrated.
"No one knows how I feel about zim, but..."Zim rubbed his chin "I do " the worker added having a grumpy expression with the table on his head
Red ignored him "Zim k ows I ant show him affection in public..., That smile, made him happy?"

"And that's what happens when you arrive to team training with without a team!" The instructor yelled
"Zim!why didn't you bring a partner?!"skoodge yelled from a cliff side as Zim struggled through a mud like sludge pond

"Zim! Get out of there! You are the only one left! just fail and allow us to go! zim!!! you are supposed to cross with the help of a partner!"the instructor yelled "why are we watching? we were the 1st to finish"  purple questioned raising an imaginary eyebrow "shhhht" red said watching intently Zim suddenly stopped as he sunk into the pond "Zim!"red yelled seeing this as small bubbles could be seen from where zim was last seen "hahaha!!!"purple laughed out loud

"Zim you can do it !" Skoodge yelled trying to cheer Zim on "ugh~ let's get out of here or they'll think we're friends!!!" Purple said with a kind of disgusted face "k" red simply answered turning around with a worried look still looking back he let out a breath of air as he saw zim's pak legs erupt from the pond as Zim gasped for air "fuwa!"Zim gasped, Zim launched out of the pond landing directly in front of the instructor as his pak legs retracted into his pak "Zim you can't use-"the instructor was cut off "The pak is zim's partner !" Zim yelled

Time skip after training*

Zim was sitting on the a cliff alone peacefully just staring not In his uniform anymore only being In his thermal suit  "hey! You can see the base from here!can I sit with you ?" Red said standing behind Zim "no! You and the other can go!!!" Zim yelled not looking at red "who? No, I'm here alone; you are pretty hard to find, I love how you finished the tr- ..." Zim turned away from red, red hugged Zim from behind "what! Let go! Put your filthy large hand off!!!" Zim yelled wiggling around in his arms "i-im sorry I really meant to be with you...but I didn't expect him to be back so soon..." Red said not letting Zim go "...Zim is no meanwhile toy!" Zim growled out crossing his arms ..."but I can understand you don't want to be seen with some small irken"Zim had let his arms fall to his side " I really like you zim even if you are...small. if I were in the average it would be ok..." Red said as he turned Zim so he was facing him now  "listen,uhm...I really like you and I want to be with you But... We won't be able to show us in public..."red said zim's cheeks "if I become the best invader you won't need to feel shame"
Zim finally said "I'm sorry..." Red said kissing Zim gently

Red had now taking off his training uniform being in his thermal suit now
"So you're willing to become tallest?" Zim asked "yeah that would be nice..."
Zim was laying on top of red's stomach now as red rubbed zim's head "mmmm..." Zim purred "what don't think I can grow that much? Hahaha"red asked jokingly "that's not what I said! Zim said nothing!!! B-but
I think you'll be a great tallest!the tallest of all taller tallest! The best tallest irken's will ever see!" Zim said with a big smile looking up at red his eyes shimmering "I just want to have a lazy life with lots of snacks..." Red said simply

Red rubbed one of zims antenna "but I'd have to cut this finger.i don't like that idea..." (His thumb like finger) red
Said trailing his hand down to zim's chin "you can hide it"Zim said looking
Up at red again "but I will touch you only with these two fingers..."red said
Having a slightly saddened expression
"See? it's weird " red rubbed zim's antenna with two fingers (ring and index) "stop it that tickles " Zim said trying his hardest to hold down his giggles , red stroked zim's antenna "leave zim's antenna!" Zim said burrying his head in red chest "woah "your antenna are really sensitive!"
Red said a slight smirk appeared on his face as he opened his mouth wrapping his tounge around zim's antenna "s-stop it that f-feels weird!!!"
Zim said "no other being has touched Zim before!" Zim clutched his hands
"You don't like the touch? Your antennas are twitching that's a good sign " red smiled "zim's antenna are no toys!" Zim mumbled  "you don't like it when I stroke them? They're so tense! That's a sign of arousal." Red said smugly "I want to feel 'the great you' all of you... Zim you're the only irken I want near... But at this point just to be 'near' isn't enough I need More...Zim allow me to go further, to feel you deep inside..."red said suductively "that's filthy"Zim said as red licked his neck ,rubbing against zim's now erect member under his suit "but Zim...
