If I could choose one person in front of whom the curse was ineffective, it would have been either Hermes or Raymond and yet, there he was in my room without anyone else besides.

Stella went to visit her paternal family with Aunt Lucia. Aunt Lucia invited me too but I said that I could not since I had a fever (with a normal body temperature) and cold (though I am pretty sure that there wasn't even a trace of rhinovirus in my blood).

Aunt asked Rihanna to give me company but she had this special disease due to which she would not see or hear anything around when Eric was beside her and she was in our living room when Raymond came to my room with a bulky green file , wearing a green hoodie and black pants. Raymond always wore hoodies. I wasn't sure if Rihanna knew that Raymond decided to pay me a visit but I was pretty sure that she wouldn't have seen him walk to my room.

"I think you are as excited as me in solving 'the Nyx case'" He said.

Oh you have no Idea.

He took the papers from his green file and kept them on the floor , the first paper on the stack was about our first mission when we visited one of our ministers' houses. It was an official visit for us and we made it as successful as possible. Then, he took some photos from the same folder and scattered it over the floor.

My eyes widened as I looked at them. He had a collection of the Nyx's and Hermes's photos. Most of the photos of the Nyx were blurred and the only few that were clear had us covering our masked faces with our hands. However, most of Hermes's photos were clear and he was standing in different poses with a victory sign. He was always famous for posing in front of CCTV cameras. In one of the photos, a small part of his hair was encircled using a red sketch. His mask was torn just a little above his forehead and this revealed his golden blond wavy hair. I made a mental note to call him 'Goldilocks' the next time we met. I wondered how his face really looked like.

Could he be someone I knew personally? Or was he just a stranger in his real identity?

My thoughts wandered and searched for every guy I knew of who had golden hair but then again Hermes was the king of thieves, he could have been wearing a wig under his mask. Even if the possibility seemed a little too much it was definitely something that could be taken into consideration since he was one of the best thieves that Yoyomia had ever seen.

"You see, I have spent a lot of time collecting these things so that we can spend time with each-" He blushed and scratched the nape of his neck "uh...I meant so that we could find their real identity and get the money the government offers"

The theft of 'the Iris of hell' caused havoc in the country. There were open fights, both verbal and physical, across the country. The members of YBC said to the media that they were pretty sure about the YAC's involvement in the theft while the members of the YAC said that they were hundred per cent sure about YBC's involvement in the theft.

Julian Negott, the chairman of YAC, said that the YBC must have paid the thieves to keep the 'The Iris of Hell' safe from any transactions. He also said that YAC was not interested in hiding or keeping the stone away from King George Qiwey. They would have done it only to hand it over to King George and since it was not the case Julian said that he did not have a doubt in YBC's involvement.

Since most of the members of YBC were rich and most of the members of YAC were poor. The things occurring in the country seemed like a war between the financially stable and not. Workers who were activists of YAC were dismissed from their companies and there were attacks on the wealthy people of the country. The situation was getting worse and worse, day by day.
