Caspian and Kyle walked out of the house and back into the hot summer air. Smiling Caspian turned to Kyle.
"What are we going to see first?" He asked.
"That's a surprise" Kyle stuck his tongue out and smiled. He then grabbed Caspian's arm and pulled him down the street, Kyle actually had no idea where he was going but wanted to seem like he did. Instead, he just walked to the north and pretended like he knew where he was going, thinking he remembered the things that were in this direction. The oldest houses were in this direction, as well as the park. The park was small but had a few nice spots in it. Deciding on the houses first Kyle turned slightly. His grip tightened on Caspian's arm, and he looked back, smiling.
"Why won't you tell me? " Caspian pouted using his free hand to adjust his camera.
"Because, I want to surprise you. Like you asked me to. Isn't that right? " Kyle raised an eyebrow and looked back. He watched as Caspian furrowed his brows as if he was trying to remember.
"Yes I did, didn't I?" He rubbed the back of his neck and a light blush appeared on his face.
(Kyle's Pov)
I turned my head away to avoid blushing. This boy is really cute... Shit I'm screwed. I kept walking and looked at the ground to distract myself. I felt Caspian stumble slightly and I stopped looking back at him.
"Try not to pull so hard" He chuckled and I let go of his arm looking down.
"Sorry! I wasn't paying attention" I responded sheepishly. Looking down once more. Caspian laughed lightly and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"It's alright, but keep walking I want to see where you are taking me" I nodded and started walking again. As we walked I kept looking back and checking to make sure he was still following me. Looking around I stopped walking and pointed at a bush blocking part of a pathway.
"That bush?" Caspian asked me raising an eyebrow.
"No dummy, it's behind the bush" I rolled my eyes and chuckled a little.
"I knew that" Caspian responded with a light pink hue dusting his cheeks. It just made him cuter. God dammit stop it... You barely know the guy. I shook my head and walked a little further down where a small opening was. I moved branches aside allowing Caspian to come through. I grinned proudly as I saw his brown eyes widen in shock. Before us stood an old factory, I never really knew what it was used for, and had always been too scared to go inside. Overgrown plants covered the brick exterior along with the occasional bits of spray paint with words in wacky fonts that weren't legible. Sure it's a small town but that doesn't save them from the kids who think they are too cool to be around anyone, and can do whatever they want. I thought to myself. I watched as he snapped a few pictures then turned to me with a wicked grin that sent chills down my spine. Jesus Christ this guy is more attractive than I thought.
"Let's go inside" Caspian said, not taking his eyes off me.
(Author pov)
Kyle just stared at him and let out a small whimper. Shaking his head, he backed up a little. Caspian crossed his arms and looked back at the building.
"It's not safe in there! " Kyle tried convincing Caspian but failed.
"That's what makes it more fun" Caspian responded, with a smile as he turned back. "Come on, please? Just for me? " He looked down at Kyle and frowned. Kyle let out a loud sigh and thought for a minute.
"Fine, but if I die I'll come back to haunt you" Kyle stuck his tongue out and crossed his arms. Caspian smiled and grabbed Kyle's hand. A small blush crossed his face as he was dragged into the creepy building. Kyle gripped Caspian's hand tight as he looked around. The place was dim, but not completely dark. It was light enough that you could see the torn wallpaper and metal bits behind them, it didn't seem completely safe, but he had gotten this far so no turning back now. There was a bit of broken glass and graffiti on the inside. The place was just plain creepy.
"You are shaking... Are you okay?" Caspian asked breaking Kyle out of his thoughts.
"Yeah... Just a little scared" Kyle responded. Kyle almost jumped when a hand was suddenly around his shoulder as he turned his head to fund Caspian smiling at him.
"Don't be scared" Caspian said. Kyle only nodded and kept walking.
"i'm not scared" he muttered only to hear Caspian chuckle. Kyle turned and glared at him slightly, seeing a smirk plastered onto his face Kyle blushed. He walked a bit further the place was so quiet and he honestly hated being anywhere near here Kyle was just trying to show off really. He wanted to seem cool.
