Stealing is an art - justifying illusions ~ Hamza Fahim
I'm supposed to make this famous, so yeah. I am going to upload two chapters with in 5 days, it's ought to be a good thing, no?
Part #1
I am going to make the most out of this year. I have to focus on studies and nothing else.

If you're thinking that I had some sort of mental disorder, you might be right but that isn't what had me repeating these lines like a mantra in my head. I felt my focus flatter in this second week of college that is why the need to remind me of my -
'R.', came a masculine voice.
Oh I'll just pretend I didn't hear that. I'm too cool to turn around the first time somebody calls me. Heh, take that you -
'R.!'
I turned around, finally, to find a guy from my biology class making his way towards me. I slightly remembered him following me on Twitter in summers break.
Hmm, wonder what this might be about.
He wasn't a really tall guy just about five feet seven inches, with eyes squinted to the size of a pebble - whether they were really squinted or naturally like that, I couldn't tell. As he stepped in front of me, I felt the need to crane my neck - shortie here! - to look at him and shield my eyes from the sun that seemed to make a halo around his dark-haired head.
'Hi. I need you're notes from the last week.'
I couldn't have heard it right the first time, could I?
'What?', I asked.
'Notes. For biology. Can I please have them?'
'Oh, sure.' I fished for my journal and upon finding, handed him with a tight smile.
'Thanks.', he ran off giving me a polite smile.
That was how I met Jake. For a few days it was nothing other than that. Then Jake started greeting in the hallways and then you know the usual happened, friend request on Facebook. The interaction was even then only limited to the extent of studies.
Once, I had lost readings for my practical or something similar that I had to ask him to WhatsApp me a shot of those readings. Jake, however, chose that opportunity to make fun of me and let's just say after that he wasn't my most favorite person on this planet. He sent those readings but only after I had begged and asked him four times.
So, yeah, our friendship started from there but I was only too hesitant about it. I didn't get into college to make new friends but Jake was way to persistent to back down. He hardly talked in college except in our biology class and the usual greetings but other than that, I hardly saw him around. The conversations later while we were at our homes were however different.
Jake is not your usual guy and he's not in anyway a jerk or an asshole. He's by far the sweetest guy I've known who holds respect for everything around him. He's not someone to toy with your emotions. Although he has a high IQ level which he won't stop to get in the way of his sense of humour, he has something holding him back.
Behind those gold-specked brown eyes, he had his demons hidden.
