Everyone had the same expression of disbelief at what Cano had just said. Cano leaned up against the wall still trying to catch his breath."I-i went to go get his tags but I didn't see his body. I saw the bloodied blanket but no body, its as if someone took him."
Kenner asked him if he saw any tracks on the ground indicating that someone dragged his body away. Cano made a face and tried to remember "I don't remember, I don't think so. I'm not sure".
Kenner looked around her at everyone. She took a deep breath,
"Okay everyone. Ruelas, Reyes and I are going to go check out what is going on. Cano you stay with Sanderson and take care of Timmer."
Cano looked at Kenner with fear in his eyes.
" Aye Aye Ma-", his voice cracked causing everyone but Reyes cringe. Cano proceeded to sit up against the wall, he closed his eyes and prayed.
Kenner, Reyes, and Ruelas all left to find out what happened to the "Body" of Aguirre. Sanderson inspected the radio, Cano kept his eyes closed, if you saw him you'd think he was asleep. But you'd be dead wrong, he was afraid to open them.
Timmer laid in bed awake the whole time, she heard it all. She was frozen in fear, like a deer in headlights, she didn't want to move.
If she moved Cano would check on her and she wanted to help. Her headache rang in her head along with the flashback. She tried her best to remember more... While they stayed back, Kenner and Ruelas were speaking amongst themselves on their way back to the beach.
Reyes was hot on their tail.
"So, what do you think happened? How the hell did his body go missing?" Ruelas asked.
Kenner shrugged her shoulders a bit and began chewing on her bottom lip.
"We aren't alone on this Island."
Ruelas snorted and shifted his head to the side,
"Reyes, what do you think?"
They both waited for a few seconds but had received no response. This time, Kenner turned her body to check on Reyes.
"He asked you a ques-" She came to a complete halt. Reyes wasn't behind them.
What the hell is going on in this island?
