The Killers

Reyes jolted awake as she sucked in large breaths for air. She blinked a few times and coughed up her lungs trying to calm herself down slightly. Her head was spinning when she saw that she was stuck in a room with nothing but a small lamp and cement walls.

"Hello?" Her fragile voice echoed through the small and enclosed area. After a few moments, there is a figure standing in the corner of the room. It was tall and hid in the shadows.

"What...the hell?"

As Reyes was trapped, Kenner and Ruelas headed back to the group to let them know. Their eyes were filled with endless fear. Once they both made it back to the camp, Ruelas quickly began packing a few bags to carry as they took a few of them to search for their lost friend. Kenner whistled loudly, grabbing everyone's attention.

"Guys! Listen up!"

Everyone stopped what they were doing and huddled into a small school circle.

"Okay, we have some bad news. Reyes has gone missing. Here is the plan. Cano, you and Ruelas scout the beach and find any traces as to where or when she could have been taken. Sanderson, you and Vale will take the barracks area, there might be some extra supplies we can use. That leaves me with Timmer, who I will stay with and we can find a map or something to find a way of this damned island." The gang split up and went their own separate ways.

"What? How...is this possible?" Reyes asked.

There Aguirre stood with his hands onto his bleeding side.

"Listen, they are here. They might be listening but we need to get the group and leave n-now.

"Who Aguirre? Who might be listening?"

His head snapped from side to side before turning his attention back to Reyes.

"They call themselves 'the killers'. No one knows where they are from. Hell, I just barely woke up. They t-took my body to use my guts for something, I woke up and escaped before they could do anything."

"Do you know what their plan was?"

Aguirre nodded his head slowly and his breath became heavy before speaking.

"They intend to get rid of the entire American race."

Reyes blinks a few times standing up and rushes up the small cement stairs that led to the outside.

"Hey! Where are you going? It isn't safe out there!" Aguirre warned her.

"I have to go save our friends," Reyes spoke.

"But you will get killed!"

She scoffed and continued up the stairs,

"Not unless I kill them first!"

Aguirre knew that he had to follow her before his friend hurts herself, just like he did.
