zoe's POV

it was damien

" i thought you wouldve left " " well i still gotta take you out and you wanted me to come to the game " he walked up to me " i was kinda worried when they put you out there " " kinda " " ok i was worried " " wow the bad boy of the school is worried about me a nerd " " your not just a nerd zoe " " really now " " youre better then a nerd " " but still a nerd " " ok fine if you consider yourself a nerd then go ahead " i smiled and he chuckled " lets go nerd " i laughed and we walked to his car. " so where are you taking me " " youll see " " usually when someone says youll see they end up dead in a ditch " he chuckled " not always " " so tell me damien why the mysteries " " what do you mean " " theres alot being told about you " " yea like what " " that youre some kind of ruthless killer " he chuckled " is that all " " nope " " what else have people said " " thats for me to know " " so we're playing that game now " " what game " he chuckled " alright ill drop it "

we parked at chili's and i laughed " wow i havent been here in ages " " whats wrong with chili's i mean food is on me " " i know and thats a good thing " i said laughing " ya it is cause im always paying " i looked at him " what is that supposed to mean " " it means this isnt the first and only time im taking you out " i looked at him in shock " so this isnt a one time thing " " nope its not "

we went inside and ate and talked about whatever came to mind and got to know eachother and then we drove to the movies and the fact that we were matching people thought we were a couple

but then again ive been in love with this guy since freshman year and who wouldve thought he would actually ask me out 

" hey uh do you mind if we stop somewhere real quick " he asked and i nodded " sure " he nodded and drove to some type of warehouse  " stay in the car " " why " " just stay in the damn car zoe " he looked at me seriously and i sigh. he went in next thing i know i hear gunshots then damien walks out looking pissed as hell " what happened " " nothing " " can you tell me what the fuck is going on " " what people said about me " " yea what about them " " theyre all true " " what do you mean " " what i mean is what you heard about me is the truth except for one thing they left out " " and that is " " im a gangleader " i stayed quiet then looked at the time " holy shit its late my parents are gonna kill me " he chuckled " ok let me process this right now youre in a car with a gangleader and all you care about is your parents and how late it is " " well what the fuck do you want me to fucking say " " i dont know anything " " well i have nothing to say " he sigh " so youre telling me youre not scared right now " " should i be " " you could be put in danger you know " " you went in there and came back i wasnt kidnapped or hurt and still alive arent i i mean anyone couldve seen you walk in and me in the car and come take me without you knowing " " touche but still they couldve seen you with me and think that " he stopped "think what " " nothing " " just fucking tell me " " hey watch it " " dont tell me what to do now tell me what they would think " " they would think youre my girl " i stopped talking

" can we do something fun " i said changing the subject and he smirked " already headed that way " we stopped at a gas station and put gas in the car. we went inside and took a few bags of chips and drinks and walked out without paying and the cashier just yelled at us and i couldnt help but laugh then drove to a cliff above the beach and he had fireworks " when did you get those " " always had em " he said smirking and i shook my head " alright light em up " we watched them blow as we ate the chips then went cliff diving and honestly at that moment i felt free like i didnt have to worry about anything we played around splashed eachother in the water then ran back up and i tried to push him but he caught on and dragged me with him laughing and i glared at him " aw cmon i saw right through it " " its not fair " " it actually is " he was infront of me and moved my hair back behind my ear " your so fucking beautiful " he leaned in and said " can i kiss you " his lips brushing against mine i nodded and he kissed me.

after a bit he took me home and kissed me again and i walked in with a smile on my face " so what happened " i screamed hearing city's voice " fucking shit man dont scare me like that " she laughed " now tell me everything " and i did

i was really happy but little did i know that happiness was gonna fade away the next day
