Chapter 16

Mal's POV

Today I'm back in Fort Myers, Florida and today Sam and I are going to the beach with Kian. I think that Sam and Kian are really hitting it off. Please say that he's gonna ask her out soon. They are perfect together. So we arrived at the beach and I laid my towel done and headed off to the water.

Sam's POV

Crap Mal just left me with Kian alone. I hope it's not awkward. So I decided to get up and put sunscreen on.

I remembered that I had short arms so I couldn't reach all the way around. eghhhh. CURSE YOU DINOSAUR ARMS !

" Hey can I help you with that." Kian asked me laughing.

" No thank you I think I'll just get burned today." I said and quickly ran down to the water where Mal is swimming.

" Mal I need help." I said nervous.

" Sam you can't poop in the water only pee." Mal said laughing.

" Shutup that was one time. I need guy advice." I said.

" You mean Kian advice. I'm here." Mal said.

" I'm to nervous to talk. I want to talk but I always say the stupidest things." I said.

" You do that all the time." Mal said laughing. I gave her a ' shut up imma punch ya ' face.

" Ok well then just talk about things he likes." Mal said diving in the water.

Well that was great. I just met him how do I know what he likes

I arrived back up to the towels and found him singing.

" Body like the summer

f**king like no other," I cut him off singing the rest.

" Girl you know it must be you," I sang and Kian looked up. We both sang the next part.

" Don't tell'em

We finished and started laughing.

" OMG you like that song to??" He asked.

" The only one I listen to." I said and smilied.

" Hey do you wanna go walked down by the pier." He asked.

" Yeah sure." I said

I signaled Mal our ' got the bae and leaving be back later ' hand gestures.

Mal's POV

Sam signaled me our ' got the bae and leaving be back later ' hand gesture.

I laughed to my self and went back up to our stuff, dryed off and was tanning when Hayes Facetimed me.

H: Hey Mal

M: Hey Hayes

H: Where are you.

M: At the beach with Sam and Kian.

H: Are they hitting it off

M: Definitly, they just left and went to the pier.

H: Wondering what there doing.

M: Hahaha

H: Hey when is your next game.

M: Next Friday against Notre Dame. Why?

H: Cause I was thinking that I could come down for a week.

M: That would be great!

H: I need to tell you something.

M: Hayes what is it.

H: I got a scholarship to play football at FSU. Florida Baby!

M: OMG Hayes thats great!

H: I Know I can't wait to start. And I was asking you that becasue we play Florida on Saturday. And I was wondering if you would come?

M: I would love to.

M: Hey I gotta go lovers are back. Love ya bye.

H: Lov-

I cut him off with hanging up so it looked like I was tanning.

"Hey do you guys wanna head back"  I asked and they nodded, we packed all of our stuff and went back to the house.

Kian had to go home to Wishbone his dog. Sam and I cleaned up the place and I told her about the great news Hayes had and we later went to bed.

It was Friday and we were leaving for the Game. Hayes was gonna meet us over there. When we arrived Sam got us pumped again we put war paint on. Man I looked firece. When we ran out I was looking around for Hayes and I saw him next to Will. That was really nice.

So it was forth quater and we were up 10-5 and were really just having fun on the filed. When I was running up with the ball I extended my leg and felt something snap. I grabbed my leg and fell on the ground.

The next thing I realize is Sam standing next to me and you'll never guess she's laughing. She really is a great friend.

When I got to the ambulance Hayes was standing there.

" BAbe your gonna be okay." He said.

I started to cry because I felt to pain surge through my body.

Hayes was whimpering from hearing me crying.

" I'll go with her go get Will and drive to the hospital." Sam ordered.

She only wanted to ride with me because she's never rode in a Ambulance. Oh Sam.

Hayes POV

After Mal got out of her surgery the Doctor came out.

" Malory bruised her ACL pretty bad but will be go to go when she wakes up. She will have to be on a wheel chair for today and tomorrow. And for the rest of the week she will be on cructhes for a few days then a brace when ever she plays because we don't want this happening again. Malory will only be missing one game." That realived me

Mal just woke up it was only a half an hour after the Doctor told us the good news. We were now aloud to see her.

" Hey Mal how are you feeling." I asked.

" I'm okay I guess. My leg still hurts." She replied back.

" Did Doc tell you the news." I asked I immediately regreted it she started breaking down in tears.

" Mal whats wrong." I asked concered.

" I can't miss one game. The USA team isn't gonna want me. With my already bruised ACL and missing one game. Wil Florida drop me? Oh no oh no" Mal starting crying even more.

" Babe everthings gonna be ok" I said.

" DON'T CALL ME BABE" Mal screamed.

" It's ok she's on shark week again" Sam whispered in my ear. I tried not to laugh.

" Listen I'm really sorry but I got to catch my flight I'll see you there tomorrow." I said. Kissed her head then left.

Sam's POV

" Why is he leaving." Mal asked.

" He needed to get to Tallahasse by tonight. Were gonna met him there tomorrow for his game. Right now were are leaving to go and pack." I said.

We got up Will drove us back to the Campus fo rus to get our car and we left.
