~Leo~

It was Leo's first day on the job, and he was already pooped. Seriously, he was exhausted. He'd had to wake up extremely early that morning so that he could get what he needed done finished.

After doing some work in the engine room, Leo headed towards Jason's room. He'd spent the morning making his mom's spicy ramen recipe that she had always made for him when he was sick. He carried a bowl of it as he walked, reheating it on his hand so that it'd be nice and hot for Jason.

As Leo turned the corner, he thought about the day before, during lunch. He'd been scared that everyone would overrule him and end up getting sick trying to take care of the boys themselves, but it had turned out alright. Though, secretly, he had another reason for wanting to be the 'doctor'.

Who cares if I get sick? I'm not as important as the other members, so it only makes sense for me to go in there while everyone else keeps their good health.

Leo knew the others would only think those thoughts were stupid, so he'd kept that part to himself.

He sighed, pushing memories from the day before to the back of his head. He put on a grin before walking into Jason's room. Of course, his friend was fast asleep.

Leo walked over and shook his shoulder. "Jaaaaaasooon! Hellooooooo! Earth to Jason Grace!"

"Mmm... Leo, is that you?"

"The one and only!"

"What are you doing here? You could get sick."

Leo explained everything about the agreement, and how he couldn't potentially get sick through contagion.

"I don't know, Leo... this may not be the best idea..." Jason said.

Leo rolled his eyes. "And you have a better one? I mean, come on, Jase, would you rather it be Piper?"

When Jason didn't argue, he continued cheerily. "Anyways, I actually have to take care of you, or else someone on board this ship will murder me slowly in my sleep!"

Jason gave a weak grin.

"Soooo I made this soup. It's a little spicy, but that helps with sickness. Soothes the throat, clears up any congestion, and easy on the stomach. Perfect for a bout of flu."

Leo handed his friend the soup. "Bon appetite, señor!"

"Thanks, Leo", Jason tried the soup. His eyes widened.

"Is it good?" Leo asked, feeling slightly nervous.

"Wow", Jason murmured, swallowing, "That's delicious!"

Leo beamed. "It was my mom's recipe. Now, while you're eating, let me clear up one thing. I may be the totally awesome and amazing doctor Leo, but I do have a rule. There is absolutely no puking aloud. I prefer not to clean up someone else's vomit before lunchtime, thank you very much. But if you must, please consider a warning so I can get the hell outta here (A/N this is so freaking me). Oh, and I have a bucket, just in case." He put a bucket on the floor next to Jason's bed.

Jason chuckled. "You got it, doc. I wasn't gonna throw up anyways."

"That's good. That's definitely good", Leo said, wiping his brow dramatically.

Jason rolled his eyes.

Leo took a thermometer out of his tool belt and tossed it to Jason. "When you're done eating, take your temperature. And no lying about what it is, or else I'll have your head."

He began to measure out medicine in a small cup as Jason did as he was told. "Now, there's gonna be a slight change in medicine. Piper was giving you the pills from the infirmary, but I believe that this liquid medicine mixed with some nectar will work better", Leo said.

"Okay... oh, and my temperature is at 101.6", Jason replied.

Leo clicked his tongue. "Not too bad, I think we can lower that pretty quickly. Any other symptoms? Dizzy? Headache? Stomachache? Diarrhea-?"

"Leo!"

He held up his hands as if he was surrendering, eyes sparkling humorously. "Well, I'm sorry for being a doctor! I've always wondered how they ask that stuff without making it awkward... anyways, answer the question!"

"Um, the first two, I guess..."

Leo mimed writing on a clipboard.

Jason rolled his eyes for the second time.

"As much as I love spending quality time with you, Superman, I really should get going. I have to stop by and do all of this again with Percy", Leo continued, shifting his weight from side to side, "need anything else?"

"Nope, I'm good."

"Alrighty then, I'll check up on you later! Do me a favor and get some rest, it'd make my job a lot easier!" Leo winked and flashed a smile before running out the door. He didn't even give Jason a chance to reply.
