~Leo~

Leo kicked his feet impatiently as he sat on one of sick bay's plain white beds. Piper had insisted on giving him a checkup, saying she couldn't risk him catching Percy or Jason's flu without her knowing.

"Piper", he complained as she touched his forehead, "I'm fine! You really don't need to do all this."

"That's what they all say. And come on, Leo, with the way you were acting earlier..."

Leo scowled, fidgeting with the bottom of his shirt.

"Do you feel sick at all?" Piper asked.

"No!"

"Right. As if you'd tell me anyways."

"Probably not, cuz you'd be, like, super annoying about it."

"Okay, hothead, geez... looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning."

Actually, I woke up on the engine room floor this morning. That might explain it.

"Alright, you're done. But get some sleep, and eat something, and for the gods' sake, take a freakin' shower", Piper said with a light grin. Leo ran out of the room without answering.

He made his way to Percy's cabin, just to make sure he was doing okay. Usually, he'd be going to Jason's, but he'd gotten the clear from Leo, saying he was officially well enough to be up and about again. Besides, the crew had been needing him, as one of the stronger and more experienced members.

Leo knocked on Percy's cabin door. "Open up, it's the FBI", he said in a deepened voice. There was really no need for that because he was gonna open it himself anyways.

"Hey, Leo", Percy called from his bed, where he sat up.

"'Sup, Aquaman. Just here to check up on you."

"I feel a lot better today, actually. Can I get some fresh air?"

He shrugged. "Sure."

Percy stood and stretched before starting towards the door. He really did look a lot better.

"No close contact, Waterboy, ya hear? We can't risk anyone else catching your germs."

"Yeah, yeah, okay", the son of Poseidon replied, making his way towards the deck. Leo swiftly followed him out and headed towards the engine room, thinking about all the things that needed to get done.

Six hours later, Leo still pushed on, even though exhaustion weighed him down. He yawned, feeling his shoulders dip even more.

Annabeth turned around, giving him a long look from the other end of the engine room. "You should get some rest."

"What?"

"You heard me. Go to bed. You've been running back and forth all day. It tires me out just watching you."

"But-" she cut him off with a sharp glare.

Leo sighed and trudged out, walking towards his cabin. He knew full well he couldn't go to sleep yet, though.

At least I'll be able to finish my blueprints from there.

He raised his hand as he got to the door, facepalming as he realized that this was his own cabin, and that he had been about to knock.

What the heck? I must be really tired...
