Have you ever wondering if all of the bad things that you've done can ever be forgiven? Have you ever been so overwhelmed with guilt that you've felt hopeless? Well, you're not alone and you're in luck. Christ forgave all of our sins and now when God looks at us all He sees is perfection and His beautiful and beloved child. You are free!
1. What Scripture says about your forgiveness:
"When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross." Colossians 2: 13, 14
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3: 16
"Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them." Romans 4: 7, 8
2. In my own words:
All of your sins have been forgiven by Christ! He died on the cross to put all of our sins on Himself and place His robe of righteousness, holiness, and perfection on us. Every mistake we've made, every bad decision or snarky word to our parents, every time we've gotten angry or lost patience with someone, they've all been forgiven because of Christ's amazing love for us. There's no need to feel guilt over the sins you've committed or will commit. Repent, pray, and trust in the awesome God we have.
3. Prayer:
Dear God,
Please forgive me for all of my sins, I am truly sorry. Thank you for your unfailing love and for sending your Son to take away every single sin. Please help me to live a God pleasing life. In Jesus' name I pray. Let your will be done. Amen.
