"How many?" Chanwoo's eyes widened at the sudden realisation, his hands cupping his own cheeks.

"3 man- a whole 3 years" he smiled widely still shocked of course since, he himself, Kim Jiwon, couldn't believe it. It was something above his expectations and it was such a pleasant realisation that he had by his side such an amazing person for so many years.

"Really no offense, but how come you became so attached to him? I can remember no one that you grew so needy of, in all honesty" the younger boy shook his head thinking back to all the relationships his best friend had had.

And Jiwon remained silent for a few minutes, looking back on how his love affair with Hanbin started, because he really felt like it's been three million years since he fell for him. It's like we've been wanting each other since our previous life was what Jiwon would claim, to which Hanbin would answer with a simple there's no previous life hyung. 5 words that could sound as such a cold answer but to Jiwon they held so much more than love and care. There was a hidden meaning behind them and only Hanbin's significant other could decrypt it.

He was so confident that it all started because of his flirty ass but he was also positive that it all continued existing and remained strong as ever because of Hanbin's black magic. It was absolute reality how they were two totally different souls that happened to end up together because of pure luck or maybe not.

On the one hand, Jiwon would say it was all about the places Hanbin would take him to and the things they'd do there. Hanbin was absolutely an adventure seeker, but not the kind of adventure everyone would imagine of. No, he didn't like neither bungee jumping nor sky diving. No, he didn't like vacations where you could explore the place you were at. No, he didn't like doing activities which would cause a lot of physical fatigue. He liked things that could make his adrenaline levels go so high without him needing to do nothing but small gestures or soft words. Just like when his hands would intertwine with Jiwon's.

Oh yes, that was pure adventure for Hanbin. How the warmth of Jiwon's body would slowly get transferred to his own. How Jiwon would tighten the grip around his hand whenever he wanted to have his attention or when he'd loosen it whenever he was about to take an aesthetic picture of the scenery and all these would so plainly, so normally make the adrenaline rush through his veins, creating such an exhilarating feeling to take over his entire body and mind.

On the other hand, Hanbin would say it was all about how Jiwon would every day teach him a new lesson about love and life. Jiwon had honestly been through hell for a lot of years- he kinda still was -and had lots of relationships as well, which had obviously helped him gain experience in various fields in life. And if he was honest, he was pretty thankful for that, because even if he had been through a lot of pain, he had still managed to overcome everything and become the Jiwon he was now, a Jiwon he could be proud of. And of course, as a human being he had those self love deprived moments, but he was still doing great.

And that's really what amazed Hanbin; the strength in Jiwon's eyes. He was so strong and at the same so so sensitive, and just, this combination was probably the most beautiful thing he had felt in his entire life. Jiwon was Jiwon, nothing more or less and that meant a lot. He was that one person you meet and they totally get you thinking I wouldn't be able to be dealing with what they're dealing. But that person is capable of fighting and that's why you get to see them standing across you. That's why Hanbin would always get to see Jiwon sitting in front of him in chemistry class, his smile beaming more and more every day. Because he was capable of fighting, and even if he was returning from the battle with serious injuries and big scars, he'd still return as a winner. Because that's what he was. A winner.
