The Sun so loved the innocent and beautiful Earth, it wanted to show its passion through a single kiss.

It poured every last sliver of love, every ounce of energy and every drop of effort into achieving its dream, and day by day, it grew closer to Earth, in hopes he could kiss it.

Through every precious moment of nearing Earth, it fell for its nature deeper and deeper.

And at last, when it reached, it gave that single kiss, which contained its everything.

But all that passion, love and effort, were so much, and yet the Sun itself did not know what a weapon of destruction it was.

The moment its rays sunkissed the Earth, it burnt everything to ashes, and it set on fire, wailing in pain as everything it contained and knew, slowly faded, as its consciousness and beauty.

The Sun watched as its only love got broken down to nothingness, not because of anything else but because the Sun had loved it. And wanted nothing more than to show it.

In its despair, the Sun vowed never to love, and never to shine, never to hurt another as it did Earth.

And slowly, its bright hot and beautiful glow dimmed, into a grey illuminating coldness that gave an eerie light to the darkness of space.

Its name was now, Moon.

As time passed, Moon cried, each tear solidifying into mini spheres that shone and it named them stars.

Over time, a single star became to form, to grow and manifest as what the Sun had longed for, a new Earth.

However, this Earth was not as beautiful.

In fact, it was ugly and flawed.

Unlike its mother planet, this Earth had waste, and its inhabitants were hateful, unkind, selfish and had started to cause the slow deterioration of their own planet.

Nevertheless, the Sun loved its creation anyway.

It kept him distracted for some time, and taught him how to love again.

Now, it has a routine, every morning it shines for the goodness of its new Earth, and it adores it, it shines for the trees, the animals and for the people to grow.

At night, it dims and replaces itself as Moon, as no matter how beautiful this new Earth is, it can never replace the flame Sun felt for the original beauty. It continues crying and making new stars to accompany him, as its lover is no longer there.

And who knows how Sun will cope when the people of the new Earth destroy it themselves, and Sun has no one left?
