I Wish I Could Say

*John's Pov*
I have been looking for that girl. Ever since I met her I had a feeling like we were meant to be together. I felt like I had to protect her at all costs

*Peggy's Pov*
I was walking through the forest as I always do when a man began swiftly walking towards me. John. I smiled brightly "Hello John!"

John returned the smile "Hey Peg-" he was cut off

"MARGARITA" a girl yelled from behind her "Who is this man?! Why aren't you at home?! Father said that you have to do the cleaning today!"

"Elizabeth..." I mumbled

"Don't you Elizabeth me! I've gotten in enough trouble because I stick up for you! I have had enough! It's your turn to grow up and realise that I won't always be there!!"

John stood between us "Who in the world gave you permission to talk to your own sister that way?" he growled "I doubt that you would enjoy someone making you feel like you are worth nothing!"

Eliza looked at her feet then up at him "You listened to me mister! No one tells me how to speak to my sisters. I love them so you can't tell me other wise!!"

John huffed "Of course you would say that... After all you are spoiled rotten. Peggy didn't get that chance to be like that and I sure am glad she didn't. I just wish you would treat her more like your sister rather then a speck of dust you don't care about"

Eliza scoffed and sashayed away

I hugged him from behind "T-thank you..."

John blushed and looked at me with a smile "Anytime pegs anytime" I smiled at him "But you aren't going back to that house" his happy tone suddenly changed to a serious one, it kinda scared me...

I nodded "O-okay..."
