I'll Care For You

Sorry I haven't updated in a few days. I have been having writers block lately so I hope this one is at least okay. As always enjoy

*Peggy's Pov & time skip a week*
John and I have been getting along quite well. He is so kind to me, his friends seem nice too just a little strange is all. "Peggy I'm going out so if you need anyone John is in his room" Alex broke me out of my daze.

"Oh alright thanks Alex" I smiled

"No worries" he waved and left. I stood up and walked to John's room and knocked on the door

"John...?" I called for him

No response.

I began getting worried "John are you in there..?"

No response

"Okay I'm coming in" I say before opening the door "Sorry you weren't answering-" I saw him lying in bed he looked horrible "Hey are you alright..?" I asked feeling his forehead, he was burning up "Oh John..."

John looked at me half asleep "Peggy...?"

"Its alright I'll take care of you" I assured him

He gave me a weak smile "Thank you..." he murmured before falling fast asleep

I kissed his forehead "Sleep well John" I walked to the kitchen to make something for him so that he can regain his strength and get better

*Time skip still Peggy's Pov*
I walked back into his room with the soup. He noticed me "Peggy..."

"Mhm?"

"Can you come here please..." he asked

"Alright" I placed the soup on his desk and walked over

He grabbed my wrist and dragged me down so I was on top of him. Being me of course my face went bright red "U-uh J-john...?" i tried to get up but he hugged me closer to him

"Please don't go..." he looked down at me.

"Oh... Okay I won't go anywhere" I got myself comfortable

We eventually drifted off to sleep
