Nicole's POV
So we start entering these gates with a huge fountain in front of the mansion. The mansion is hugeeee. There were bushes perfectly shaped and aligned with the next bush. and at each sides were a beautiful flower garden.
"Wowww" was all I could say.
In front of the Entrance to the house were a family of 5.
"Hellooo Nicole how ya doing sweetie" said Aunt Jennifer
Other than the abuse, lies, and threats " Fine" I said
"Well I'd like to introduce my family, This is my husband Jack"
"Hey Nicole heard good things about ya kid" Said Jack
"Ummm heyy"
"This is my Youngest son, Mason, He's 3" said aunt Jennifer
" Hi, You're pretty" said Mason
I bent my knees to his height, " Why thank you handsome" and then I kissed his chubby little cheeks.
Mason blushed then ran inside the house
"Next is Anthony, He's 13."
"Hey" he said not looking up from his phone
Unexpectedly aunt Jenny backhanded him, I laughed at this
"OUCHHH what was that for" said Anthony
"Young man you were being disrespectful to your cousin, say sorry then properly greet her"
"I'm sorry Nicole, heyy" he looked at his mom "happy?" aunt jenny glared at him and he ran in the house.
"Last but not least, my oldest, Nathan, he's your age."
"hey, watsup?"
"hey"
"Nathan show Nicole to her room" said aunt jenny
"Sure thing, cmon lets go"
"kayyy" I said
and without telling him to do so he grabbed my bags. Well at least I get along with 2 of them.
"Thank you" I said
"no problem" said Nathan
He showed me to my room, then gave me a tour of their house (mansion). He let me finish unpacking my clothes.
Before he left my room he said " Dinner will be ready in about an hour or so and you start school with me tomorrow."
"okay" I said
I'm soo hungry. God I can't wait for dinner. The bad part was school tomorrow like WTF? calm down I just came here but whatever I need to start my life sooner or later.
I thought about leaving my dad. Sure, many people love their dad.... but me? NOPE.
My dad is crazy, psycho, horrible, careless, abusive, every bad word you can think of.
There was one point where he was the greatest dad in the world, but that was only when my mom was still here.
If only she was....
My thoughts got interrupted by the sound of Mason.
"Helllloooooo Nitollleeee the foood is readyyy."
aww he can't say c's thats so tute (cute).
I got up and opened the door and there he was looking and smiling up at me.
I picked him up and said " Whats my name?"
"Nitole" and all I did was laugh in my face
He had this look on his face and crossed his arms, "Not funny".
"I'm soorry do you forgive me" I gave him the puppy dog face
"yess but only if you give me a kiss again" wowww I thought, you little playboy huh.
I kissed his cheek and he smiled.
"Little man is already getting girlss, way to go Mason." Said Nathan
"You got it dude" said Mason
All I did was laugh and headed down to the dining room
Auntie Jenny made Chicken Alfredo with a side salad and garlic bread. OHHH how I love italian food.
Everyone started digging in then sooner or later everyone was done and laughing at Nathan when he joined a play and peed himself on stage.
This is what I call a family right here. I'm 16 and I finally get to experience a real family.
We all head up to our rooms, thank god my room is near Nathan's because I would've got lost!
I have a big day tomorrow, I start high school with a new life.
As I was headed to my room I was stopped.
"hey don't be intimidated tomorrow it'll be fine, if anything happens I'll be there to help." said Nathan
"Hey don't worry, I'll be fine"
"It's just that your gonna be like me little sister so I have to protect you, and sit with me tomorrow at lunch I wanna introduce you to my friends okay?"
"okay"
And with that I went to sleep.
