Daniel's POV
We were walking back to the car hand in hand. I kept thinking about the kiss that we shared. Trust me, I've kissed many girls but not one of them compared to this one. Well obviously if she's my mate then it should be amazing. I know she's my mate because back when we were at her house about to leave we touched and I felt this spark. And when she left to change to her bikini, her name was now coded onto my ribs. It's weird how we werewolves are but when you come in contact with your mate, her name is coded onto your rib. For a female, it is coded onto her lower back. I don't know if she has even noticed it, probably not.
"Lets grab something to eat before we hit the road, we haven't even eaten yet." I said
"Yea, I'm getting hungry."
We were walking back to the car and suddenly a car that was very familiar pulled up next to us.
It was Nathan's car. Nathan and Zach came out the car. They both looked furious, I don't know why.
"What the f*ck is wrong with you guys?" Nathan yelled at our faces.
Nicole and me exchanged looks. What the f*ck is going on? I have no idea.
" What are you talking about?" Nicole asked
"Yea, calm down" I said
"CALM DOWN? HOW WE CAN WE WITH YOU GUYS RUNNING OFF LIKE THAT? You guys had us worried sick." Zach practically screamed in our ears.
"Why worry about us? We're mature enough to handle ourselves. Besides what could simply happen to us?" I exclaimed.
"Anything could've happened, what if you guys got kidnapped then, what if one of you guys got hurt, or what if---" Nathan said.
"What if this is just bullsh*t" I interrupted. Nicole started laughing so much her face became so red. I joined her too but then I stopped. She just kept laughing while everyone was waiting for her to stop. But she couldn't, I watched her with awe. She's adorable and cute. The way she laugh is quite unusual, I think she might've even snorted a couple of times but I think it's cute. Her smile and the way her eyes light up when she laughs gives me life. She finally stopped laughing but still had this silly grin on her face.
"We'll meet you guys at home then." Zach said
"We haven't eaten yet, why don't we just go to that small diner we passed by." Nicki said.
"Yea, great idea." I said
We all left to our cars. I opened Nicole's car door being the gentlemen I am. And being Nicole that blushes a lot, her face became red. As I started the car, I held her hand and looked into her big brown eyes.
"Today was the most memorable day ever, I hope we have a second date to look forward to."
"I most definitely would love a second date" She said.
I honestly loved today, being with her made me feel different and less of a d*ckhead. I wouldn't say that I'm in love with her yet but I have a strong feeling towards her. I can't love just yet, I can't trust just yet.
Nicole's POV
We arrived at the diner and went to go get a booth. I sat next to Daniel while Nathan sat in front of Daniel and Zach in front of me. I ordered a double cheeseburger with curly seasoned fries and a chocolate milkshake. The guys went to go talk for a minute outside so I left them alone without questioning them.
Daniel's POV
"So what did you want to talk about?" Zach and Nathan asked.
"Well, I'm Nicole's mate." I said without hesitation.
"Stop f*cking around Danny" Zach said.
"Really? You think I'm lying?" I asked. Zach and me went back and forth.
"I think Nicole's too good for you"
"Do you wanna see my ribs? I'll show you proof"
"You're f*cking lying you---"
"Shut the f*ck up, Danny just show us your ribs so we can get this sh*t over with" Nathan exclaimed.
I pulled my shirt up and they looked at it. Zach looked furious. Seems like someone had a crush. Too bad Zach she's my mate and no one could take my princess away from me.
"Wow, well Nicole has no idea does she?" nathan said
"Nope, we have to tell her what she truly is." I said. She needs to know. "Why don't we just tell her at the house after we eat."
"Ok fine then but let me explain, we don't want her to think we're crazy. We need to ease in the topic not just come in like a wrecking ball. We don't need to be like Miley Cyrus here. " Nathan said
We all went inside where the food was already on the table and Nicole waiting. Aw she didn't eat without us.
Nicole's POV
They all came back and sat down in the booth.
"Finally, I didn't want the food to be cold" I said
"You could've eaten without us." Nathan said
"It's fine though" I said
We all ate until we were full. We all shared this delicious Oreo pie. It was heaven. I wonder what took them so long out there. What were they talking about? Was Daniel talking about our date? Was he telling them how bad it was? No impossible, he said he wanted a second date and today was memorable.
He could be lying though.

Great I was fighting with my conscience. How stupid am I? Ughh, I had to ask. So finally I did.
"So what were you talking about out there that made me wait so long"
They all began looking at each other. Until finally Daniel said
"We need to speak to you"
