Nicole's POV

"That was the highlight of my day" Nathan laughed. "Thanks for the laugh Nicole, I honestly needed that so much."

"Well you're welcome and thanks for inviting me to skateland, I really needed to take my mind off some things" I said. Yea I really needed to stop thinking so much, it's hurting my head. I just can't accept the fact that I've moved on now. But it's for the best, I needed to forgive my dad and forget the painful memories. Oh god, here we go again with the thinking. Ok now I needed to stop this, I'm at skateland to have some fun.

"Ok we're here, Have you ever rollerskated before?" Nathan asked. "Yea, I have and I'm pretty good at it too." I replied. "Ohhh how I can't wait to see you fall on your ass Nicole" Daniel said. "AHAHAH I can just imagine it, and I'd be your prince charming to come pick you up and save you so you don't get run over by the other lame skaters" Daniel said.

WOW never thought someone could look so cute just laughing.... NO what am I thinking. He's a jerk and all he cares about is himself.

"Hellloooooo, Earth to Nicole you there?" Zach said. "Oh yeaa umm are we here already?" I said looking around to find no one else in the car but me. Zach is waiting outside the car just looking at me like I have three heads. "Oh sorry to make you wait, I guess I got lost in thought" I said. Well yeaaa that's what happen when you argue with your conscious. I climbed out of the car and closed the car door. The place was packed. It was mostly filled with teens, I guess it's a hang out spot. "Hey, here are your tickets to rent your skates. Nathan is at the table ordering some food" Daniel said. He's currently in his rollerblades. He left me and Zach to go get our skates so we did. Wow, there was a lot of hot guys around here. Every where I looked there was a hot guy. Even the workers here were hot. "Excuse me? skates or blades and what size?" said this really cute worker. "Blades and size 4" I said.

"Aww thats cute, you have really small feet." said the worker. I read his name tag, his name is Cameron. "Oh thanks, umm Cam" I stuttered. You know this town is filled with hot guys so I'm having a hard time trying to act normal. I took off my shoes and handed them to Cam. "Thank you."

"Welcome, umm whats your name?" Cam asked. "Nicole" I said. "Wow beautiful name for a beautiful girl" Cam said as he winked. "Hey what's taking you so damn long Nicole, we're all waiting for you." Daniel said. "I'm on my way, god." I said. Daniel helped me put on my skates and with that we skated away together to our table. I haven't skated in a while and I'm not doing bad. The last time I skated was with my mom and dad. I know that has been a very LOOONGG time. "K I'm ready, lets go skate!" I was very excited. Right now their are strobe lights everywhere and Anaconda was playing on the speakers. We started to skate together and I got really pumped so I started to sing. "My anaconda don't, my anaconda don't, my anaconda don't want none unless you got buns hun"

"Wow you have a d*ck, well that sucks now" said a guy that was rollerskating to me. He was really hot, no not even that. He was sexy. "No, I don't have a d*ck" I laughed. "Oh ok, well thats really good to know" he smiled. He has a really great smile too. "What's your name?" I asked. "David Robinson, and yours?" " Nicole Golden" I said. "Nicole Golden, wow that's the best last name ever" Dave said. "Everyone loves it" I laughed.

"Everyone must clear the floor. If you are 13 and older and you are a girl, you can compete in our speed contest. Only 5 contestants are needed. 1st place wins 2 slices of pizza and rollerblades/rollerskates, 2nd place wins 1 slice of pizza and skates, and 3rd place wins 1 slice of pizza." Said a worker. "Come on Nicole go enter" Nathan said. "Fine, should I try to win or just have fun?" I said. "Win, obviously?" Daniel said. I skated to the floor and entered. The other 4 contestants then came. There were two girls that were probably about my age, a 13 year old, and a 14 year old. I've practiced speed skating when I was about 8, my parents and I would go every Wednesday. I've gotten better and better but until I was 10 the incident happened and I haven't went skating since.
