Phoenix stood by her locker getting the books out she would need for her upcoming practices. with a permanent glare on her face she shut her locker and on the other side was a certain blonde boy.
"morning sunshine" he said with a teasing smirk.
"fuck off ryker" she said with a slight smile, just seeing the boy cheered her up.
"so you heard about the new kid, the kid killer?" he asked as they began to walk going to find the rest of their group.
all phoenix did was roll her eyes in response avoiding the topic of the boy her was in her thoughts all night. once the two spotted brandy and another girl from their group they made their way over to them. brandy sent the pair a smirk as a way of saying "hello" but her eyes were focused on something else.
the pair followed her eyes to see a certain curly haired boy making his may through the hall. phoenix watch the boy with a glare as willie bumped into him making him drop his books. a small exchange of words was made between the two but they were out of reach for phoenix' ears to grasp onto their words. the boy picked up his things and then went closer to the group. as he walked saya and her group were passing by.
"hey saya what's up" he said with a small smile only to barely get a glance from the girl. all of the dixie mob laughed at this, well except for phoenix who kept her resting bitch face. marcus looked at the group, his eyes landing on a specific blue eyed girl who was also in his thoughts all last night. he went to say something to the girl who avoided looking at him but brandy beat him to it "yakuza don't consort with wet bags, dipshit"
marcus was taken aback at the statement and looked at phoenix almost waiting for her to stand up for him, but she didn't. she just kept her emotionless face and let herself get dragged along by the southern girl down the hall. marcus watched her retreating form, confused as to why she hung out with those people. he just shrugged and made his way to her locker.
brandy and her minion had gone to her locker while phoenix and ryker went to his. which so happened to be right next to where chico was standing. she looked at chico and he looked at her and gave her a respectful nod. he had nothing against her, he actually respected the girl and phoenix "returned" the mutual respect. she actually hated the boy for what he did for maria but maria told her not to act on anything and stay in chico's good side. which surprisingly worked, chico considered the girl one of his good "friends", if he had any.
