*Hayden POV*
My mini vacation at my grandpa's house was magical. If Cyrus and I weren't rendezvousing in our room, we were riding, or taking a stroll through the vineyard, or taking a tour of the winery. It was beautiful, and the weather wasn't too bad. I leaned a little more about my real father and everything was great. I decided that it was time to forgive Caleb. I missed him like crazy. I missed my best friend. I also decided to move back home. At first, I didn't think much about her feelings, but I thought about how I would feel if I lost Cyrus. I don't know where I would be. When we got back to San Diego, paparazzi were surrounding LAX. I was surprised to see Caleb waiting for us in the airport. I smiled. At the time I didn't care about the paparazzi or anything else. I ran to him and jumped into his open arms. He lifted me up briefly and chuckled as his arms squeezed around me tightly. He set me back on the ground but he didn't let go of me.
"I'm sorry," he said softly in my ear. I let my eyes close as I reveled in the feeling of my best friend in my arms again.
"And I'm sorry too," I whispered back before I pulled away and smiled at him. I turned back to see Cyrus smiling at us. "You did this?" I asked. He shrugged and smiled. I talked to Cyrus about my revelations before we got on the plane. He must have told Caleb to meet us here. Caleb's' eyes scanned the crowded airport before he looked back to me.
"We should head home now," he said. I only nodded and followed him out of the airport. I looped my arms with Cyrus and Caleb. I was just happy I had my boys.
The drive home was great. We joked and laughed and sang along like we didn't have a care in the world. We ate lunch together and then we went up to the movie room. I sat in between the guys as we ate popcorn and watched a movie. I leaned into Cyrus's side as he kissed my hand.
"I'm moving back home," I said after a while. They both froze before Caleb paused the movie. They turned to me.
"You are?" Cyrus asked in an almost whisper. I nodded.
"You heard my grandpa, Russ. I haven't been fair to her in all of this. I've only been thinking about myself... I've been selfish. It's time I talked to her," I said.. Cyrus kissed my head gently.
"You're parents won't let me see you like we're used to. You know how strict they are," Cyrus said. I sighed and closed my eyes briefly.
"I know," I said softly. Caleb cleared his throat uncomfortably.
"I'll-um... give you guys a moment," Caleb said before he left, leaving me and Cyrus alone in the movie room.
"I don't know how I'm going to get along without being able to hold you and kiss you whenever I want," he said. I sighed and kissed him gently.
"You'll still be able to. I think my mom understands that she's been too overprotective. By this point, I think she's willing to do anything to keep me, and I won't take advantage of that, but I'm not letting go of you," I said softly. Cyrus smiled softly, before his lips were on mine like it would be our last kiss. My hand held his cheek as he deepened our kiss, his hands gripped my waist as he pulled me onto his lap. I chuckled and pulled away. He whimpered at the loss of contact and pulled me closer. I placed my hands on his chest and pulled back to look at him.
"Hay-bale," he whined. I giggled at his stupid nickname and rolled my eyes.
"There's plenty of time for that later... Plus, I don't want to do anything with Caleb in the house," I said. He pouted before he sighed and let me curl up on his lap.
"I guess I'll help you pack and get everything back into your house. I wonder what your parents are going to say about us being together. They kind of dismissed me if it wasn't dance related," he noted. I shrugged.
