*Cyrus POV*

Hayden drives me crazy, but in a good way. I just couldn't keep my hands and lips off of her. I walked into the house and I was on cloud nine. My cheeks were flushed and my lips were probably slightly swollen but I didn't care I'd just made out with the girl I'd been dreaming about kissing for the past eight years. I would be okay of I died right now. I opened the sliding door for Hayden and she thanked me quietly. I saw her cheeks turn rosy. She was so cute, I swear. Caleb pounced on us as soon as I closed the door.

"What the hell?! Where have you guys been all day?" he asked. I can tell that he's getting worked up, but even his pissy attitude can't get me down right now. I admit, we might have stayed out a little too late, but I didn't want to leave ever so it was good that I was here at all. I chuckled as I leaned against the kitchen counter.

"Chill out, Caleb. We went to Santa Monica and got carried away," I lied easily. "We're back now." I turned to the fridge and grabbed a water bottle. I was thirsty after all that kissing and talking. If there was a kissing marathon, we would probably win it. Although, we did stop by a taco place to eat on the way home too. Caleb turned his attention to Hayden.

"What did you want to talk about?" he asked her. I didn't like the sound of that. I shot Hayden a curious glance which she returned with a look that said 'I'll tell you later' before she followed him up the stairs. I wasn't overprotective or anything...

Okay, yes I was.

I didn't want her to be alone with Caleb. I trusted her completely and she wasn't officially mine yet anyway, it was just... I knew my brother. That, plus I knew that he liked her, a lot. Not more than me, but he came in a very close second. Hayden was like a siren and we Warren brothers were the sailors, following her to our deaths.

I would gladly follow.

*Caleb POV*

We need to talk. That text had been bothering me all day long. It was a good think I saw it after my early morning shoot or else I wouldn't be able to focus. I was already rushing home to see what she wanted to talk about. Only, when I got home, no one was there.

Cyrus.

My blood started to boil. He was always taking what he wanted, no matter what anyone else around him thought. And right now, he wanted Hayden. I knew I should have cut the shoot short and picked her up from school. Cyrus would just take advantage of her to get what he wanted. Then he would be done with her. I paced, I ate, I tried watching TV, I tried everything to keep my mind off of Hayden and her vague text but nothing worked. Finally I heard the glass slid open from the back door. I let out a sigh in relief before I looked at my clock. It was 9 o'clock! I stormed into the kitchen and glared at my brother.

"What the hell?! Where have you guys been all day?" I asked, the anger seeping through my voice.

"Chill out, Caleb. We went to Santa Monica and got carried away," my brother replied like he didn't have a care in the world. "We're back now," he added, grabbing a water bottle from the fridge. I narrowed my eye into slits. He looked way to fridgin happy if you asked. Me. I took a calming breath before I looked at Hayden.

"What did you want to talk about?" I asked her, calmly even though I was the complete opposite. She motioned for the stairs and I obliged without any question. I trudged up the stairs with Hayden on my heels. She followed me into my room and closed the door behind her. I took a breath before I faced her. I plopped down on the edge of my bed and waited.

"You shouldn't have kissed me," she started in a rush. "And I shouldn't have taken advantage of you after my mom came," she apologized. So I was just a distraction?
