All Peter can remember from his life is pain. Mental, emotional, and physical pain. See Peter was kidnapped by HYDRA at the age of 3 and turned into a super soldier. He lost half his face and an arm, plus a normal childhood.

When Peter was 13 he and a few others escaped, the youngest of them being 10, the oldest 14. They all split into groups of two then spilt off of those groups from there.

Peter was paired up with youngest, who strangely had a pet, fox. He shrugged it off and they walked for three days straight, ending up in Queens, New York.

The two nodded to each other and went their separate ways. Peter was planning on staying in Queens, while the kid wanted to go to Boston, said they had family their.

Peter had no money so resorted to begging. Lots of people took pity on the young boy, though not knowing about his strange features in his left side. (He's all right now. I'll go home) He made an average of $10 a day and was able to eat and sometimes and new clothes. Pete slept in a back alley way.

One particular day 1 year, 4 months and 9 days after he escaped. Peter noticed a man watching him from across the street. He could tell the man had a metal arm from the glint coming from sunlight bouncing off the metal hand that was slightly visible, just poking out from the man's jacket.

Peter realized quickly the the man knew something was different with this kid and slowly made his approach.
