Ch. 4: Vacation

A few hours later Drift woke up alone in the car. He yawned and looked outside while scratching his head. Sidewinder was licking on ice cream while talking with Lynx, who was also eating ice cream.

Sidewinder noticed Drift staring and waved at him with a big smile on her face. Drift waved back and got out the car.

Lynx: Finally awake!

Drift: How long was I asleep?

Lynx: About two hours. Sidewinder wanted to stay near the car so nothing happened to you...

Lynx winked at them both. Sidewinder walked off embarrassed. She went with Brite Bomber who seemed a little down.

Sidewinder: Are you okay?

Brite Bomber: Yeah... It's just that Abstrakt is flirting too much with that girl. Sidewinder looked at Abstrakt who was talking to a girl that looked a lot like him.

Brite Bomber: It's not that I like him, it's just that I'm afraid that girl will kill our friendship...

Sidewinder: Brite Bomber, no one can replace you. You're one of a kind and the best friend anyone could have!

Brite Bomber: Aww, thanks... I feel kinda better now...

Sidewinder: Let's go to the sea?

Brite Bomber: Yes!

They ran inside the hotel and changed to their swimsuits. When they got out Abstrakt couldn't keep his eyes off Brite Bomber.

Drift: I wanna come too!

Brite Bomber: Change real quick.

Drift: Nah.

He took off his shirt and got in the car. Sidewinder stood there with her face all red. Brite Bomber giggled.

Sidewinder: W-we should go now.

Lynx: Can I come too?

Sidewinder: Sure!

Brite Bomber: But we're going to leave Abstrakt and Raptor alone?

Sidewinder: Oh, yeah, I didn't think of that...

Lynx: Just pass them the hotel keys.

Brite Bomber threw the keys at Abstrakt. He catched them and waved goodbye at her. Brite Bomber waved back and got in the car with the others.

The ride was only five minutes away so nothing really interesting happened. Sidewinder saw a pirate ship.

Sidewinder: Whoah!

Brite Bomber: Was that here before?

Lynx: Yeah... There's this pirate living there with these weird fish guys...

Sidewinder: Cool!

Sidewinder left her hat with the egg tied on it in the car. She was afraid to loose it. They got out the car and looked at the water. It looked pretty clean. Sidewinder got inside.

Sidewinder: It's a little cold...

BlackHeart: Oh, don't worry about that, In our boat we have a really warm jacuzzi that you'll all enjoy!

They turned to look at the pirate. He looked nice and young. A very short beard and wearing a black pirate suit.

Sidewinder: Oh, I'd love to go!

BlackHeart: Well, come on in!

They cheered and went inside the boat.
Drift noticed the pirate staring at Sidewinder too much. Drift got a bit closer to Sidewinder and kept enjoying the jacuzzi.
