Ch. 10: New Home?

Sidewinder woke up with a headache. She groaned as she got up. She looked out the window and noticed it was dark outside. It's still night...? She thought. She felt someone grab her hand and gave it a kiss. She looked behind her and saw Drift holding her hand.

Drift: How have you been feeling lately?

Sidewinder: I'm better now but I have a headache...

Drift looked into her eyes and then down at her hand. He smirked and gave her a kiss in the mouth. Drift got back up.

Drift: Lay down, I'll be right back...

She did as she was told and patiently waited for Drift to come back. Drift went to the kitchen and opened the box with medicine. He found some aspirin that would help. He went back to Sidewinder.

Drift: I think this would help...

He gave her the aspirin and a water bottle he had next to his side of the bed. Sidewinder took them and signed.

Drift: It should be getting a bit better by now...

Sidewinder: Thanks, Drifty....

He layed in bed next to her and wrapped his legs around her waist. He dug his face on her neck, which tickled a bit. She giggled as she felt his breath on her neck.

Sidewinder: Drifty?

Drift: Hmm?

Sidewinder: I love you.

Drift: I love you too.

They both closed their eyes and went back to sleep. A few hours Raptor came in the room.

Raptor: Guys!?

They kept sleeping.

Raptor: GUYS!?

No response.

Raptor: Okay, you made me do this...

He left and came back with two saucepans.

Raptor: One... Two... Three!

He slammed the pans together making a really loud noise that woken Drift and Sidewinder up.

Drift: What the FUCK!?

Raptor: There's something we need to tell you! Come downstairs.

Sidewinder: Ugh...

Drift: How's your head, baby?

Sidewinder: Better.

Drift: I'm glad. C'mon, let's see what all of this is about.

They headed downstairs and saw people getting stuff out of the big truck.

Lynx: So I guess the house was worth it cause it's out new home now! They brought all our stuff and putting our old house on sale.

Drift: That's cool!

Lynx: And since there's an extra bed you guys can sleep in separate beds instead of sharing one.

Drift: HA HA HA! Who said we wanted to sleeping in separate beds? I think we'd rather share one.

He grabbed Sidewinder closer to him. Lynx smirked.

Raptor: Alright, lovebirds we need help to get this shit in....

Drift: I'll help. Sidewinder, you sit in that couch right there.

Sidewinder: But I wanna help!

Drift: Nope. Your head hurts.

Sidewinder: But Drifty!

Lynx: I'll take this whining girl out of here and we'll come back when you're done.

Drift: Great.

Lynx took Sidewinder out of the house.
