Oh, the beauty of a flame
The way it flickers and sways
The shadows it casts on the walls as the glow fills the room
Danger has never looked more graceful.
We use fire in so many ways,
The flick of a lighter sends sparks flying
The flame ignites and you have
The power of destruction in your hands.
Who knew that something so beautiful
Could leave a pile of ashes in its wake?
Or that it could bring forth a new beginning?
Like a moth,
I am drawn to the flame,
I want the fire inside me
To ignite.
