Chapter 1: Incandescence

Harith and I had fun as we ventured towards Euriditio.

I learned that his home and family was destroyed because of the Shadowbringers. The Shadowbringers are notorious, evil creatures, seeking for the death of others. They are empowered by the Lord of the Abyss, having the ability to blind enemies with the shadows.

The scariest thing was the poison on their tail. The poison is on the blade of their tail and on the claws. Anyone who would be injured by any of this parts will suffer suffocation. Their poison is very lethal and deadly and could paralyze you, eventually leaving you to death.

General Helcurt, the leader of the Shadowbringer, was feared among their race. He commanded to destroy The Home of the Leonins and was very successful, if it wasn't for the Lord of the Abyss.

Harith was the last of their race, I would assume, but he didn't tell me yet if there are. He said that he can pratically control time, but not really that much. His key is the thing that amplifies his power and gives an instinct that senses nearby danger or unknown things.

"So, we're almost halfway to Euriditio and I'm not sure that you're safe alone." Harith said,very worried, "Shadowbringers could mark you as their next target since we met."

"You don't have to worry about me,"
I assure him, " I have a rifle, and I do fight."

"You sure? They could silence you. Like, I was really lucky that someone saved me." He chuckled. Probably, he doesn't trust me since we really don't know much about each other. However, I'm sure he's strong because he is a Leonin and possibly, he lives in the Moniyan Empire.

"Who?" I questioned him. Harith closed his eyes, then opened just to see the badge on his cape."His name is Alucard.He is a demon hunter and he came from the Moniyan Empire."

"Alucard?" I raised my eyebrows, " As
far as I know, Alucard was seducted by Alice when he was young and got imprisoned in her lair. Later,other demon hunter saved him and trained him to be one."

"Right." Harith agreed, "But I still don't know where will you go, or who would be with you."

" I thought someone in the jungle would always jaunter and guard it."
I spoke, "Wasn't sure and I think there's a Family Clan near here right?"

Harith's ears perked up,"Oh yeah, how could I miss that!" He exclaimed,
" I do know how to get there but... I really don't know who they are."

"How is it possible that you know how to get there but at the same time you don't know who they are?" I deadpan, asking if it was possible.

" I dunno,Odette told me so." Harith shrugged, pouting cutely, "Do you know Odette, the Swan Princess?"

"Yep, she's very pretty. She even visited Harley's school with his boyfriend!" I answered.

"His boyfriend has a hair of noodles and he is gay!" Harith shouted.

"What? He isn't, maybe its just his voice or his hair!" I sputtered, " He can't be a gay if he fell in love with-"

"Gusion!"

"What the......actual fuck?" I stuttered, shocked, "And Gusion?"

"They said Lance could ya know, for that guy." Harith replied, " The possibilities are endless."

" You're just spreading nonsense rumors you know. Odette and Lancelot are engaged already and their marriage is soon." I said, crossing my arms.

We passed by intersecting paths and our pace slowed down. "You want to get to Euriditio, follow that path." Harith pointed to a well chiseled brick path.It had neon blue linings, something like the patters of those advanced weapons.
