" Make yourself at home, just tell me if you need anything. " Roy said the moment they stepped in front of his doorstep and entered the house. Kimberly had always liked the elegant design in his house. There was a huge chandelier on the ceiling, sparkling at the living room and this is the only thing that have caught Kimberly's attention ever since she first came— which was years ago.
The perfect mixture of gold and white for the patterns on the wallpaper and the light above them made them feel as if they're living under the embrace of lemon yellow colour. The furniture just blends in too well to be described in words. Unfortunately, her parents never have the same taste as her in terms of house design.
" Kimberly? " Roy called out, realising he wasn't getting any reply from her. He noticed how Kimberly's eyes sparkled like the chandelier hung on his house's ceiling, it was bright and attractive. A smile then unknowingly crept up his face, as he enjoyed staring at the girl. Kimberly whom realised the situation finally spoke,
" O-oh sorry. I was just admiring how much your parents' taste in design is similar to mine. Tell me how long has it been since I last came for a visit? "
" I'm not sure. But it's been years, that's for sure. By the way, I'm sorry that this house doesn't have any maids or butlers like before. I told my parents that I don't really need them. You might n-" Roy apologised as he placed the luggage next to him, clasping his hands together. Kimberly whom knew what Roy was thinking, immediately cut right in his sentence before he'd misunderstand.
" It's alright, I don't need them anyway. My parents are just worried over me since I'm a girl, and I'm not that independent in their eyes. "
" Oh really? I'm glad then. Because, I personally don't really like to have those kind of service. It's a waste of money when I have my own hands, " Roy smiled in satisfaction, knowing that Kimberly is fine and comfortable without the presence of butlers and maids. Somehow Roy's words had made Kimberly fell for his personality even more. She was certain that this guy isn't just good looking and he even knew how to save money despite the fact that his family is wealthy.

Kimberly watched as Roy walked in the kitchen, in order to prepare their dinner. After making sure and was certain that Roy would stay in the kitchen for quite awhile, she then slowly turned behind her shoulders to look at that figure that she noticed had been staring at her from a distance through the glass door.
" Come in. " She signalled the figure outside with her hands,
" Okay. We're finished. Now that you're living with that dude, he'll stay by your side 24/7 for sure. I'll have zero chances in getting near to you, " Jackson sounded frustrated, as he messed his hair not knowing what to do. Kimberly knew she should've rejected Roy's offer and everything might still go by their plan, but she'd rather live this way than live with her mother.
" Don't worry, I have my own plans. Just wait and see. " Kimberly confidently said before Jackson jerked his head towards the direction of the kitchen. He could sense and hear Roy whom was about to come anytime. Kimberly understood by staring at Jackson's actions, then ushered the guy to get out of the house. He vanished in mid air just in time, before Roy appeared.
" Kimberly, anything you'd like for dinner? "
" Anything would do. But, I don't really have the appetite honestly. I'll skip my meal for today, you don't have to worry about me. " Kimberly lied, trying to divert her gaze away so that he wouldn't question anything and just ignore it. She had only remembered about this problem where if she were to live with Roy, it would be illogical to Roy if she did not eat any food while she's staying at his house and yet she still managed to survive.
