Adam's POV

My eyes fluttered open. The bed me and Ty shared was stiffer than usual. I tossed and turned on the squeaky mattress.

"Ty..." I mumbled, softly.

"What's up with this mattress..."

I was greeted with silence, and a cold chill up my spine. I quickly sat up in the bed, bringing the covers with me as I gripped them.

This was not my room.

The walls were an extremely dull shade of grey, and part if the wallpaper was scratched and torn. Spider webs hung from the corners of the ceiling, and they draped the unmoving ceiling fan.

The air was thick and dry, making the room hot. My eyes drifted over into the dark side of the room. My heartbeat spiked as I saw a figure in the center of the shadows.

The figure moved slowly to the closed blinds on the window.

The person's healed shoes echoing in the room.

Each step pounded the blood in my ears.

The cord was pulled.

Light flooded into the room, leaving no shadow behind. I blinked my eyes a few times as they adjusted to the new lighting.

Slowly, the blurred figure, no longer a shadow, formed into an actual person.

The first thing I saw was massive blue eyes (I THINK THATS HER EYE COLOR OK.)

That gleamed in the sun rays. They flashed with hate, and anger.

The girl had short brown hair, with blonde roots. I knew her.

I can never forget.

The girl who used to own my heart.

The girl who misused my heart. Disowned, treated with hate, and completely torn it in half.

She was the one who crushed my hope, dreams, and entire life.

Dawn.

Mitch's POV

I hopped in Jerome's car, taking charge of the whole situation. I was a natural born leader, and the time to use these skills are now or never.

I was the one driving, with Jerome and Ty in the back.

It only took about 5 minutes to get to Ty's house, since I ran all the Stop signs and red lights.

I ran inside, leaving Jerome to comfort Ty in the back seat of the car. I ran up to their room, and started running my hands through Adam's things.

I found literally everything but what I was wanting to find.

I went through the large stack of fan drawings of his Minecraft character riding chunks of butter, or Skylox pictures, and stuff like that. I went through his dresser, which had a picture of Ty on the mirror with a heart around it.

I opened the last drawer, luckily finding exactly what I was hoping for.

Dawn's address.

OH. The shortness of this chapter hurts me too. Right in the Ticky heart.

I will do a 1,000 word chapter this Friday! Be ready...
