Make a Choice

Chapter 24

          Preston's P.O.V.

     I begin crying as Ty hangs up on me. My phone just died and I cannot get up that hill with Rob. The nearest hospital is about two to four miles from here. If anything I can try to hike him up the hill. Also a bad thing about this road. It is a secret to all who are new or have not been here for over six years. People have also forgotten about this road.

     I pull Rob up and into my arms in a bridal style. He was surprisingly lighter then he looked. He was really tall-ish and had some muscle. Though he seemed to only weight fifty pounds!

     I slowly made my way up the steep hill. I was limping badly but my willpower never disappeared. I believe I was suppose to be knocked out too, but my God is a good God and gave me a second chance to redeem myself. To show them I can do things for myself!

     I finally make my way to the top and a car passes. First I had heard in a while. Possibly the last for a long while too. I sighed and shift the woof in my hands. I kiss his forehead and sigh again.

     "I promise, I will save you Robert." I speak into his hair. He is breath heavily and shaking. I look into the sky and see darker clouds beginning to form. I shiver slightly at the temperature. The car had been really warm. The car is wrecked now though.

     I look forward and start walking confidently down the road. I may not make it but Rob has to. I need him to.

          ~P.O.V Jerome's~ very short

     Mitch is trying to pull me out of the house. I know he is. This is not him. He is acting more feminine then he ever acted. Almost as if he was a girl trapped in a boy's body.

     I shook my head. That is ridiculous. The only person able to do that is Seto. We have not talked to him in forever. He would never do such a thing. Right?

     I mentally slapped myself back into reality as 'Mitch' pulled my sleeve again,"Jerome, c'mon he isn't here."

     He then went silent and fell forward. I caught him and started messing with his face. I smacked it a little and pulled his face. Something to wake him up.

          ~Mitch's P.O.V.~

     I saw Seto begin to fade. He smiled at me and waved.

     "You will tell him nothing." He then disappeared and I saw Jerome. I looked up at him and I lunged up at him. I had been scared, I had to admit.

     "Mitch, what is it buddy?" He asks. I open my mouth and ignore what Seto said.

     "Dawn! She was able to possess my mind! She has Sky! I don't know where but I know she has him." I cried into his shirt.

     "Let's go the Biggums!" He says charging forward. I laugh at him and run behind him.

     "We gonna win da Hunga deens?" I ask still recovering from the crying. I chuckle slightly as he stops at ever door, looking in.

     "Yeass we are! Got my Betty, we gonna chop chop!" Jerome says pulling out a blue random axe. I step back in surprise and look into the room he was just in. Swords and axes, some guns, lay out all over the floor. I grab a machete and hook the end onto my belt loop.

     "I wonder how you found this?" I wipe at my eyes, wiping my tear stains off.

     "Magic Biggums, magic." He holds up a finger to his lips and runs through the hall. It seems to stretch as we run more. I feel a gust of wind blow through my hair and I laugh. (Man... someone needs to draw that... wait I already was... Ticky ô~ô)

     We stop at a door and Jerome kicks it open revealing something we never expected to see.
