"We will not she's our daughter now!" Joey says yelling and Meghan goes and stands next to him "Leave her alone! You left her so she doesn't have to go home with you!" She yells. Calmly I step in front of them "Leave them alone and I'll go with you," I say as calmly as I can when I look back I seen Joey and Meghan crying Joey tries to put me behind him but I push him away he looks at me shocked "Joey don't try to fight my battles for me." I say and with that my dad grabs my arm "Good choice Lyra." He says and I smell the beer in his breath. Joey is crying and by this time Daniel had gotten out of his car and he stood next to Joey holding him. When they both look up at me i wink and then launch my head back hitting my dad in the face he yells in pain loosening his grip on me giving me the chance to kick him in the leg then when he falls over i swing my leg up and kick him in the face "Shut the bikk up you jerk you mean nothing to me,'' i say looking at him on the ground with a black eye and a bleeding nose "Quick Joey in your car is some rope grab it." I say looking at Joey who nods and runs off to get the rope when he comes back I tie up my dad and call the cops. Within minutes hey arrive "What's the emergency Miss.?" They ask "This man attacked me and my dad. He is also guilty of child abuse. Please get him away from me." I say and the police nod taking my dad and half of my old life away. But only half.

I crouch down to be about the twins height "I'm sorry I probably just ruined you first night in our family. I usually am not a violent person in general." I say and both of them just look at me and smile "Sorry for what telling and making us for once in our lives feel safe. No Ly you don't need to be sorry." Rowan says smiling and she hugs me. Once the hugs over in stand up and say to Joey and Daniel "You know we never got dinner so lets go shall we?" "We shall!" Joey says smiling and then he hugs me taking my hand and we walk off into the restaurant where all of his friends were like 'Joey what happened?' Or 'Are you Daniel, Ly, and the twins ok?' And crap like that when Joey tells them what i did they all look at me until Gabbie say "Dang she can beat up a 30 some year old man then I personally don't want to get on her bad side." And with that we all laugh and head to dinner.
