One Direction's Support Act

Chapter One (Hi, nice to meet you)

*Scarlet's POV*

"You ready?" Ne-Yo asks me as I step out of the door and into the building "Ready then I'll ever be" "You'll be fine, trust me" "What if they don't like me?" "pfft. You're really likeable. You got me to like you, just stay true to yourself". I'm so nervous right about now, I'm going to become the support act for One Direction and they are massive around the world. I should know I'm their fan. I just stopped my tumblr and all that last year though. Ne-Yo and I have this relationship, he's like another father to me. So him being here makes everything a whole lot better or worse, don't know yet.

*Harry's POV*

"Hey, boys" "Hi Simon" all of us say in sync kinda reminds me of primary school. Well, your support act is going to arrive here shortly. I want you to be nice to her okay? No scaring her away". Her, Simon said her, I fix my hair and make sure I'm ready to meet her before I ask what's her name and all that. Liam gives me a look then a glare to back me off from flirting with her. PFFT. That's so not going to happen. 

"What's her name, Simon?" I ask with a cheeky tone to my voice.

"No flirting with her until she's comfortable"  Simon says pretty much saying the words like Liam would've.

"Just as long as you tell me her name" 

Paul looks at me and glares to not joke about this. 

"Scarlet Dai" 

That's a pretty unique name. 

"Scarlet Dai, woah she has such a beautiful voice and I love her music. The rhythm, melody, eveyrthing. She's gorgeous too. She's really sweet, I think we'll get along well."

Everyone gives Zayn this look of curiousity "Zayn, where did you meet Scarlet?" Simon asks 

"She had a couple of gigs in Melbourne when we were there last year, I went and watched her. When she'd talk to the crowd she acted like she was no better then them"

I wanted to see this "gorgeous" girl now. Luckily my wish comes true and I see her. 

She was wearing black and white aztec print  high waist shorts with a cream singlet. 

"Nice to meet you, Scarlet. I'm very happy you'll be joining us for the tour" Simon says in a sincere manner.

"Nice to meet you too. It's a pleasure to be able to join your tour" Scarlet says just as sincere as Simon.

"Boys. Meet Scarlet Dai, an upcoming R&B/pop singer. 18 years of age and she's worked with the likes of Chris Brown, Adele and Iyaz. Quite a combination don't you think? Her music is very known to the people up to date with their R&B, she composes her music and adds very unique stuff to it. Rumour is boys she's also one of your fans." 

While Simon was talking I looked at her, long dark brown hair, brown eyes, pink lips. You can notice how shy she was, standing behind Ne-Yo. Let's see if I could use my charm on her.

*Scarlet's POV*

All the guys walk towards her to introduce themselves, Liam first as usual "Hello, I'm Liam. It's very nice to meet you" They both shake hands and i smile slowly feeling comfortable. "I'm Scarlet, It's very nice to meet you too."

My cheeks seem warm and I feel like I'm blushing, oh god.  Zayn walks up to me to introduce himself "Hey, I'm Zayn. I've heard your album and I've been to one of your gigs. I really love your music".  My eyes brighten up, I cannot believe Zayn like my music. This day is going well. "Wow, really? Why didn't come and talk to me afterwards? I love your music too, I have every album" When I say 'your' I motion to all of the boys because it's not just Zayn's music after all. 

Louis walks up to me and smiles, well he's already happy. "Ello, I'm Louis but you can call me Lou or Boobear. It will be fun getting to know you." I become more of my happier self and my nerves seem to fade by the second; Lou hugs me for a while and I laugh. "Hi, I'm Scarlet. It will really fun to get to know you too, for the moment I think Louis will suit though" Louis doesn't move and it seems like he has another question "Simon said" he laughs at himself and I realise what he meant. Simon said, Simon Says, I chuckle a bit then stop "Simon said that you're one of our fans, who's your favorite?" I blush, really hard. I thought I wouldn't hear any of this but no I'm wrong. I know Ne-Yo was the one to tell Simon that and I glare at Ne-Yo and he just shrugs at me. I might as well tell the truth "Yeah, I was. Still am. I don't have a favorite, it's kinda hard to have a favorite and you guys are a group so the credit should be spread out evenly" "Touche" Louis says and walks away.

Harry looks up to me and gives me that smile which would drive the fans mad and I smile back. "Hello, I'm Harry" "I'm Scarlet" "It'll be fun to have you around" he winks and walks away. I roll my eyes and the guys chuckle in the background. 

Niall looks kinda shy but then I walk towards him "Hello, I'm Scarlet" "Niall, It's nice to meet you" "Nice to meet you too" I flash a smile and he shows one back. 

"Now that you're all accquainted. Scarlet, I think it's time you should show us some of your music" Simon suggests. 

"Of course, umm.... Do you have a piano?" I ask, I don't like performing in front of a small group of people, unless they have a piano. "Yes, of course. We'll walk into the writing studio and you can play there" "Bye Scarlet, have fun" Ne-Yo says and I wave goodbye. "Thanks" 

*Niall's POV*

Scarlet's really sweet and polite I don't know why I was so shy and she wasn't afraid to approach me too. She's really pretty as well, the way her hair frame her face perfectly. The way she would glow and smile. I really like her. Right now, she's talking to Louis and Zayn; she's laughing in the corridor and you can hear her laugh very clearly.

We walk into the writing studio and there's a piano in the corner. I move next to the doorway while Scarlet motions to the piano her fingertips glide across the keys. Scarlet sits down and begins to play. 

So many thoughts,

So little time,

And I'm caught

I should be careful

I just don't know what to do.

I become so caught up in her voice, with the lyrics. Then the song ends and the guys applaud her, I join in too smiling bigger then ever before. I can't wait to go on tour.
