*Scarlet's POV*
I wake up and it's five in the morning. I woke up crying, I kept on seeing my parents in my dreams. How I miss them so much. I look around the bed and Niall's sound asleep, I walk outside and realize I'm not alone. I see Harry up too and he's just sitting on the couch silent and motionless. I sit next to him and he smiles.
*Harry's POV*
Scarlet sits next to me and I look at her smiling "Can't sleep?" I ask and she nods. I open my arms and she's comes into my embrace.. "Let's talk" I say "Alright" Scarlet says "Anything bothering you?" she says concerned "You seemed really stuck in your thoughts before I joined you". I was stuck in my thoughts about Scarlet, nothing different. "I just feel distant from you" I say "I feel like you hate me" I felt like I was blaming her but there was no other way to get to know her feelings about me.
"What?! No, Harry. You're too fun to be around" I look at her and it feels like she read my mind "Seriously". "Truth is I'm going to fade and you'll forget me before even notice" "Why, why do you think that?" Scarlet says "Simon said I'm not allowed to flirt with you. Zayn says I flirt with you too much and I haven't even touched you. I- I can't be with you, surrounded by your adorable personality. I-I can't do that" I could cry if I wanted to, Scarlet takes a deep sigh like she has some relief. "PFFT. Stuff Simon then. Just as long as you're around" I laugh and she smiles even bigger.
*Scarlet's POV*
Is this what Louis said this is going to hurt me? It didn't hurt me at all. "I promise Harry Styles, I will never ever forget you. I would usually have something to seal my promises but I don't have anything" "Seal it with a friendly kiss" Harry says smiling and I lean towards his head and I bit my lip before I touch his. I touch his soft lips and I didn't move and neither did he, I kissed his lips and his hand goes to my chin and his hand tilted my head up higher, I end up sitting on his lap. I'm so thankful none of the guys had been awake with Harry, I really didn't care that I was kissing Harry. It was amazing and he's a great friend.
*Harry's POV*
I'm holding her chin and I didn't want her lips to leave mine, I wanted to move. To make this a make out session that would get a moan of pleasure out of her but that would make this friendship awkward or wake up the guys and anyway, I'm just getting into the game. I could tell she wanted to make this short and sweet but something was holding her back. I kissed her and move my lips a tiny bit and she did the same, I taste more of her. I know we've been only kissing for like three seconds but it feels like forever. She leaves my lips and I start to blush.
*Scarlet's POV*
I move away breathless and I touch my lips and remember his taste. Minty and addicting. I don't know about that kiss though, it was only meant to be short and sweet but I wanted more. No. You cannot have feelings for Harry. Remember he's Harry Styles, an expert in kissing and hooking up. He's had heaps of 'practice'. Harry and I lock eyes for a while and I see his cheeks flustered "What was keeping you up?" "I guess I got kinda homesick, I had dreams about my mum and dad. I kept fading away from them" Harry hugs me "It's just a dream, you can talk to them now. I think it would be morning in Australia now" "I'll call them on Skype or something today" "It's okay trust me" Harry says. Harry kisses my forehead "Sleep, Gorgeous"
