I smiled after packing my things for my much awaited trip. Everything is so messed up last semester and I don't even have someone to talk about my troubles at home because my parents are always away for business.
"Will you be okay? I can literally pack my bags right now if you want me to come with you Rosé." Jisoo said while munching on a cookie.
"I'm fine. I just want to have peace of mind. Next semester will be one of a hella ride, I must use this free time for a much needed break."
"How about your parents? Did you even ask permission from them?"
"Nah~ no need to ask their permission. Just don't go inform them about this or I will haunt you forever."
"Wow, what a threat." We both chuckled. "But seriously, don't go far and make sure you'll be back before the next semester." She said seriously.
Jisoo is my friend since grade school. We have spent our whole childhood together and I will never get tired of her. She's older than me but she doesn't want me to acknowledge that. A crazy happy pill.
I sat on my bed, "I'll contact you every now and then to update my well being."
"Yes please and don't go around dating every guy you meet." She teased.
"What the hell? I am not like that. What are you saying?" I laughed.
"As your big sister, this is just a warning." "Wow, big sister." I snorted. "Unnie don't worry, I'm here for peace not for another headache."
An 8-hour train trip from the city. A province where I grew up with is my target. Maybe I can stay for a week or more but surely I will be back like 2 days before the enrollment.
It has been ages since I last visited that place. Growing up studying in the city sometimes can make you forget simple things. Like the sound of the waves, the chirping of birds, healthy clean air and the whole province atmosphere.
Checked the time and it's past 2pm.
"Maybe I'll arrive before midnight?" I muttered to myself. I checked the details of the place I booked and good thing they have free check in time. "Everything is starting fine."
I entered the train and settled on the first seat I saw.
I suddenly received a text from Jisoo.
"Have a safe trip Rosé. Please text me when you get there. Love you."
