If there was something I didn't understand, it was how the water didn't evaporate. I mean: we were in the desert and the sun was really strong. It looked like hell. I felt like I was melting, but the water that my sister and mother were using to fight was still there, flying from one place to another according to the signs of both.

I took a sip from my sister's bottle. It felt so good! I had put the bottles of water in a cooler, which I had brought in by putting it in my shadow. If it wasn't because Alessandra had already done the same and I gave her from my bottle, I would be dying of thirst right now.

By the way, curious fact. I am the walking suitcase of my family. That's because I can put things in the shadows (which I have no idea where they're going, but it's still useful), they always leave me all my luggage wherever we go. I carry water, clothes, books, food... Well, everything other people don't want to carry by hand. It's not that it bothers me because it's not that things get in the way, but it's tedious to be sleeping and my sister shouting, "Suitcase! Could you give me my clothes, please?"

Although it's always useful, I have to accept. Thanks to that we had cold water and a nice umbrella to give us shade.

Hannah is the eldest of the three and is better than us at manipulating Shin and Ssen. Both give her more speed and strength than Ale and me. It has enough speed so that I can't even touch it, although not as much as my father, who I can't even see.

My mother, Scarlett, is not as good as my father, Frank, but she is good enough to have my sister as defensive as Ale had me. Both combined water with ninja star-studded weapons. What they did was putting a bubble in the star hole and spun the water, making the weapon spin next to it. That, dear ones, is called being able to use the Ssen. After all, my sister didn't really use the Ssen, but the exercise was so that she could concentrate on manipulating the water the way she wanted. There are different ways to use it, like my sister with my teleportation or my father with... I don't know, I've never seen him use it, but the point is that there are several ways.

They both attack each other over and over again, using water curtains as a defense, deflecting the blows. But my sister was at a disadvantage from the beginning, since she was using 10 stars, while my mother could control more than 20 without any problem. By now my sister only had the water curtains and three stars to defend herself, as her opponent had thrown the others into the sand, and being full of sand she couldn't use them well.

My mother was standing, with a curtain of water over her to cover herself from the sun. One here has to run from one side to the other and she just stands there quietly. I even took a sip from time to time. She so quiet while Hannah was kneeling trying to cope with three against... I'm sure they were more than double.

Quickly the three became two, and from two to one. In less than a minute my sister was totally uncovered, with about 20 wooden stars surrounding her. Already totally resigned, she dropped the water surrounding her as a shield over her, cooling herself (the very...), and threw herself to the ground.

-I surrender.

My mother smiled and put all the weapons back in her little bag. Like my sister, she also dropped the water to refresh herself. Why don't you offer? Very low manners.

-A surrender is made before losing, you had already lost, my dear.

My mother, as kind as ever. For me, my parents got married because they are both cruel by nature. At least it's what makes the most sense to me.

-Please don't look at the fight as if you're excited. -Ale said to me, next to me. She was sitting drinking water just like me. My father had fallen asleep and was snoring. The temptation to move the umbrella so that the sun would hit him directly and burn him was too tentative, but I was sure that if I did that, even if he burned, I would end up worse. Just like against Ale.

I thought about throwing water at her, but I knew that would only refresh her, so I decided to throw some sand at him.

-Shut up. I'm not far from defeating you.

-Ha! Dream, little brother, dream. -When she said that, she put his hand on my head.

I hated that, I'd always hated that. I was the youngest, but it was only for two years. The difference between Ale and Hannah was bigger and she didn't say anything.

-Did your father fall asleep again? -My mother and sister had already approached us and I was passing the bottle to Hannah to drink. I offered Scarlett, but she politely refused. Why not? She had done nothing.

-Yeah... The truth is that I didn't even realize it. The second he led down I began to hear the snoring.

My mother sighed.

-Can you pass me the umbrella, please? -Knowing what was going to happen, I picked up the object and gave it to her, taking advantage of the moment to get up as well. Alessandra did the same. My mother raised the umbrella with both hands and lowered it at once.- Frank!

A quick knock and my father's eyes were open again.

-Good morning, my love. Ready to go?

My father seemed to want to kill someone, but when he saw that it was his wife, he ignored it. He, angry, was nothing compared to her angry. When she get angry... Run. Run for your life.

-All right...? -he stopped when she saw Scarlett's face. We'd picked everything up while he was asleep, so asking about it at the time wasn't exactly to calm my mother.- Well, let's go. Ale.

We all approached her and put a hand on her shoulders.

Morning training: done.
