Nearly Grown

Part 0

Hi!  My name is Katie.  I'm not quite sure why I'm taking the time to write this.  After all, I'm very busy with being a freshman at an arts college trying to finish out the year with straight A's as well as balancing sleep, awkward relationships with roommates, and a social life consisting of a friend or two.  I just stumbled upon my old watt pad account.  I haven't touched the thing since 2016, and probably haven't written here regularly since 2014.  I used to write here all the time.  I'd talk to my friends online as I was homeschooled at the time, and I wrote awful poems and read stories about my favorite singers.  Middle school at its finest.

Now, I'm almost 20.  Not quite the 13 year old who opened this account after much deliberation and conversation with my mother.  On a whim, today, I decided I wanted to try to write periodically about my experiences, thoughts, awkward encounters, and musings during these next 3 and two months years of college.  Who knows if I'll stick with it but hey, this was a really fun time back in the day.
