It's humorous that people are always so shocked when they hear I have ex's. I'm no hoe, but I don't live under a rock either. Technically I've dated three people, I only really count one tho. I dated one kid for three days before I dumped him freshman year, one for 1 month before we broke up on mutual terms that we were better as friends, and one from the summer after fifth grade to the January of freshman year. But I don't much talk about people I'm dating, I don't think the entire world needs to know what happens in my relationships, or even that i'm in one. 

And now I want a boyfriend, but since my ex and I broke up I've only been asked by guys who have one thing in mind, sex. If I am gonna date someone it has to be someone who isn't only trying to date me for a quick fuck, that's not me. At the same time, it seems my generation doesn't realize the point of taking someone on dates is to get to know them. If people weren't such dicks I'd pull a Sadie Hawkins and ask someone out, but teenagers love to start drama, and spread rumors. So it's not worth it. 

I guess one could say when it comes to romantic relationships I'm a romantic with high expectations. I believe relationships should be built off of trust, not materialistic things. Part of trusting them is being okay if they don't tell you everything and vice versa. You shouldn't need play-by-plays of each others lives. You shouldn't have to give passwords or lets them read messages and such, privacy is still a thing when you are in a relationship. I believe you should be able to trust the other person, and that both people should put 100% into it. I believe you should love each other for who you are, not try and change each other. Good Communication is a must, if you don't talk can you really say you are in a relationship? One should not give up friends for a relationship, you shouldn't have to choose but if you do true friends come first. Time away from each other is a good thing, you don't need to be together 24/7.
