BLACKPINK set foot into the land that is known as the pearl of the orient sea—Philippines. It's the Day 2 of their tour in the country and of course the day of Lisa. The fans prepared a special event tonight in celebration for Lisa's birthday.
Right after the four ladies finished singing "Stay", blinks slowly raised their purple slogans that says "Happy born day, Lisa! We love you!" The birthday girl, as surprised as she is, covered her mouth in awe. She couldn't believe it; that all the people in front of her would appreciate her existence so much, and that they would love her this much. She may have originated from a different country, but they welcomed her and genuinely embraced her in their arms.
Her members gave her a hug and stayed behind her as she reached for the mic with shaky hands.
"Thank you so much..." Her voice shook. She couldn't help it. Tears pooled in her eyes as she continued to express her gratitude for the fans. "You're not just fans to me. To me, you're my dream come true. All of these would not be possible without each one of you. Thank you so much. If I would be given the chance to be born again, I'd choose the same path. Over and over again. Always. Just to see you and meet you. I love you, blinks. Always and forever."
The fans are crying now as well. Little did Lisa know, there's still more to happen than what she witnessed just now.
As the lights started to dim, a familiar song shocked Lisa. Only Lisa. Not the other three members nor the fans. Only Lisa had this unbelievable look in her face.
"Wise men say..."
Lisa froze. She couldn't move. That voice. It made her shiver. That deep and soothing voice. She immediately who it belongs to.
"Only fools rush in..."
It sounds dreams and rainbows. Every word he says makes the stars align into their most beautiful and shiny state. Every time she hears his voice, it's a dream come true for her, always.
"But I can't help falling in love with you..."
She turned around only to see a man who's holding a bouquet of purple roses. Kim Taehyung. The man of her dreams. The man who made her fall in love for several times. He smirked at her because he got the exact reaction that he wanted from her.
Just like the way I expected. He thought to himself.
"Shall I stay? Would it be a sin?"
He winked at her. She chuckled while wiping a tear that has escaped from her eye.
"If I can't help falling in love with you..."
The music stopped and that's when she realized that the fans were screaming so loud. They've been doing that since the moment Taehyung stepped into the stage but Lisa didn't even notice. She was too preoccupied by the presence of the man in front of her, smiling widely as he closes the distance between them.
He handed her the bouquet. She took it from his hands. They smelled just like him—home.
He must've gotten them at the rose garden in our house. She thought.
She looked at him and she cannot help but stare at his eyes. His eyes reflect the the galaxies and the moon and the sun and the stars. They are the universe. Her universe. And sometimes, she just lets herself get lost from it.
"Hey, happy birthday. Did you like it?" He asked.
She nods, slowly. He smiled. "I'm glad you did."
Tears are starting to form in her eyes again. "Thank you...so much." Her voice broke. She tried hard to smile to cover up the tears but she failed miserably.
He laughed at her. "I know those aren't tears of sadness."
She frowned. "Of course you do. Damn you!" She spat and punched his chest.
She sniffed. Her nose is slightly red. Taehyung finds it adorable tho. He always makes fun of her whenever she turns red because he knows he has an effect on her.
"But really, thank you so much for this. I really did not expect it. I'm fine celebrating my day with the fans but who am I kidding? I always knew I would be much more happy and content if I spend it with you. And it happened. So, thank you."
Tae genuinely smiled. He cupped her cheeks and his eyes wandered at every detail in her face. Her eyes. Her eyes are his comfort. They are so expressive and powerful. Her rosy nose. Her full and red lips. Even her bangs are so damn attractive.
"Baby, you deserve it. You deserve everything. And I will do anything in power to make you and keep you happy as long as I have you."
Lisa cried harder. Taehyung was always vocal about his feelings for her. She always knew that. He shares everything with her and so is Lisa. He always tells her things like this whenever they are together but doing it in front of thousands of people? It's beyond expectation. He exceeded every standard in her list.
Taehyung was becoming more alarmed with each second passing without Lisa saying anything. "What are you thinking? Tell me, please."
"Hmm. You have no idea." She wrapped her arms around his neck and she slowly leaned forward to make their lips touch.
She closed her eyes. She didn't care about the cameras anymore or how many people are watching them right now or broadcasting this event.
She stopped and bit her lips. She looks up to Taehyung who's now towering over her.
"You do realize that I love you, right? That I will always love you the same way you do to me. I'm so lucky. I couldn't even imagine my life without you in it anymore. I have no idea how you made me think that way but one thing's for sure. This. This isn't just for a year or two years or five years. This worths a lifetime. And I'll be glad to share it with you. Thank you and I love you, my Taehyungie. I know you know that." And she lightly touched the tiny mole on his nose. It's cute.
Taehyung felt a lump in his throat but he still forced a smile. He didn't know what to say. He was never this speechless before.
"I honestly don't know what to say. But I do know something too. That my love for you will never wither no matter how many years or seasons will pass by." He confessed and slowly touched the mole on Lisa's neck.
Lisa gasp at his touch. Damn his effect on me.
"Not here..." she whispered.
He laughed loudly and looked at her. They were still smiling like idiots. He then smirked at her.
"Not here..." he said and kissed her again.
For Lisa, his kiss is her haven.
They stopped and Tae hugged her tight.
For Lisa, the happiest place she's ever been was in his man's arms. And she couldn't be happier right there and then because she knows that she's home.
"You're the only man I will come home to, Kim Taehyung."
