Chapter 20 - Ahn Hee Ji

Jihyun's POV

I sighed before knocking on the door. I bet that the boy's are still awake though, maybe just done eating dinner and I could really hear Chen and Baekhyun's laughter from out here.

I knocked again and in just a second, the door flung open.

"Jihyun-ah!"

I was pulled into a tight hug by no other than Chen who opened the door. "I really missed you~"

I chuckled and shook my head. "I missed you too, Jongdae."

I smiled and pulled away from him. Then I got pulled inside by a serious looking Baekhyun who just stared at me like an overprotective friend would do.

"Why did you come home so late??"

I looked at the clock. It was already eight in the evening.

"When Chanyeol brought me to his place, his sister was unexpectedly there - Yura... Then she suddenly brought me to her company so that I could help her with work. Then Chanyeol slept and I had to do the assignment all by myself."

"Then how did you get back here?"

"Chanyeol drove me here."

He frowned, confusion evident on his face. "But I thought he was asleep?"

"Yeah, but then he woke up. So his sister told him to drive me here."

Baekhyun sighed and lightly smacked the back of my head.

"Hey! Why did you do that??" I whimpered, pouting as I rubbed my nape.

"Don't you know how dangerous it is for a girl to be out at this time of the night??"

"But I was with Chanyeol though. Even though we are enemies, I bet he wouldn't let anything happen to me especially knowing that he would be responsible for it since he is with me."

He sighed before looking at me with softer eyes. "You made us worry... Don't ever do that again."

"You made him worry," Chen coughed.

"Shut up!"

I turned to Baekhyun who is suddenly flushing red.

D.O. approached me with a small smile. "We waited for you to arrive so that we could all have dinner together."

My eyes slightly widened. "W-What? Aw, guys... You didn't have to wait for me."

"It did not take that long though. We just finished with our assignments two hours ago," I turned to Luhan who is smiling. "Let's all head to the kitchen and eat, shall we?"

"How about we let Jihyun change first? I bet that it is really uncomfortable staying in that uniform for so many hours."

With a smile, I turned to Lay. "Thank you Yixing," I told him. "You guys can go ahead and start eating. I wouldn't take that long."

"Alright then..." Luhan says and nods his head to the kitchen - motioning the others to enter with him.
