*Still Tamaki's P.O.V*
I greet guests, thank them for coming, accept their gifts, etc., etc. Now I'm starting to get bored. I greeted every guest that walked through the door, and yet, no Kasumi.I had been waiting by the door for her for about 10 minutes. Young ladies had approached me, asking me to dance, several times. I just kindly brush them off.
"Tamaki..." I hear a gentle, soft, kind, and familiar voice from behind me say.
I turn around, and the girl I see stuns me where I stand. She wears a beautiful, flowing, floor-length gown. It's a slim gown that doesn't hug her body, yet still manages to magnify her perfect features. Little makeup is brushed onto her face, but done like a professional to magnify her perfectly curved pink lips, and her deep blue eyes. Her chocolate brown hair is put into a high-side ponytail, that cascades over her shoulder in soft curls.
"Kasumi..." I manage to say breathlessly. A blush breaks out across her cheeks.
"I-Is something wrong...?" She behins to frantically check her dress. "Is something slipping?!" I quickly place a calming hand on her arm.
"No, No... you just look absolutely stunning, that's all." I inform her. After I tell her this, her cheeks flush bright pink.
"T-Thank you, Tamaki..."
*Kasumi's P.O.V*
Why am I so nervous?! I mean, it's only Tamaki...
I convince myself that it's just what he asked for... a kiss. So cliché, but so Tanaki. Just a simple peck on the lips, outside, after the party... but I'm not sure I can do it. I... I've never kissed anyone before. I don't know what to do... Of course I want to kiss him... but what will it mean for him...? Why would he even want me to kiss him...?
"Wait, how did you get in...? I've been here greeting everyone..." He tells me. I smile to myself.
"The twins let me in the back..." I state softly. My eyes start wandering around the room and they meet Kyoya's. He looks so handsome in his tuxedo...
"Kasumi...?" Tamaki's voice snaps me out of my trance and my eyes go back to him.
"I'm sorry Tamaki..." I state gently, blushing as I realize I was staring... Tamaki smiles widely.
"Go mingle... I'll see you later..." He walks off and a crowd of girls approach him. I watch him as he goes, admiring the way the lights make him glow. My heart feels warm as I tap comes on my shoulder.
"You look lovely this evening, Miss Roromiya..." Kyoya states. I blush and smile gently as I let my eyes go over him once.
"As do you, Kyoya-senpai..." I state softly. He smiles and looks over my shoulder for a second.
"Do you wish to dance...?" He asks me, his eyes sparkling through his glasses. I nod gently. He takes my hand and guides me towards the dance floor.
We reach the dance floor, just as a new song begins. Kyoya rests one of his hands on my waist, and the other grasps my hand firmly. My heartbeat quickens drastically as we begin dancing.
As Kyoya look into my eyes, the simple 1, 2, 3 is not simple anymore. As the pace of the song quickens, my steps falter, and Kyoya stops dancing immediately.
"What's wrong?" He asked, cconcern lacing his voice.
"I am perfectly fine. In fact, I am elated to be here. After all, this is the party off the century, is it not?" I ask, trying to sound confident.
Kyoya's eyebrows furrow together in frustration as he pushes his glasses to the bridge of his nose. "You are happy to be here, but are you happy to here...?"
I look at him sadly. "Kyoya, why would you think I'm not happy to be here with you...?" I ask gently.
Couples of dancers swirl around us in a flurry of colors. Blues, reds, greens, yellows, and purples pass us quickly.
I notice something that almost paralyzed me. A soft, barely noticeable pinkness covers his cheeks. Kyoya is blushing...
"I-I don't know... I guess I just assumed you'd have more fun with him." Kyoya's statement almost sounds cold.
"Who's him?" I ask curiously.
He only shakes his head devastatingly."It doesn't matter... I know I was wrong." His eyes have a new light that I have never seen in them before.
*Tamaki's Point of View*
Kyoya's eyes are brighter than a field of daffodils. My mind starts to go bizerk trying to figure out what she told him.
She obviously told him she loves him.
My mind yells at me. The fire in my heart starts to burn with jealous rage. I cannot accept her with Kyoya. She needs someone who understands her, who supports her. Who sees her beauty, and her strength. She doesn't belong with Kyoya, she belongs with me.Calm down, she doesn't love Kyoya. Why would she kiss you if she did? This is your chance Tamaki, you can make her yours, My conscience tells me.
A smile comes onto my face, it is more like a triumphant grin, but I am okay with it showing. People deserve to know that I am the winner, that I will be victorious...
*3rd Person Point of View*
The two boys, both now believing that they were the love of Kasumi's life, set to work. Kyoya was planning to surprise her after the party, placing a gentle kiss on her lips in the moonlight and stealing her heart. Whereas Tamaki's plan was planning to woo her by making the most romantic scene she had probably ever seen, wanting her to be his everything.
Of course, life isn't perfect, and not everything will go how you want it, right? If only the boys knew how horrific the night would be. Because just as the last guest had exited, everything was in place...
*Kasumi's Point of View*
I have been looking around for Tamaki ever since I stopped chatting with Kyoya. I need to tell him that I can't go through with kissing him, that I can't kiss somebody if I also have feelings for someone else.
"Tamaki...?" I ask softly, now wandering outside.
I stumble upon a romantic scenery, candles make a huge circle and a small entry way. Rose petals dance along the ground, and the smell of vanilla coats the air. I see a note on the ground in the centre of the circle and slowly walk towards it. I lean down and pick it up.
'Kasumi, you are as beautiful as the stars at night. Your lips are a beautiful shade of pink, rosey, and yet striking. Your hair cascades over your shoulders. Your feelings are delicate and fragile, yet you are independent and strong. You-' I am cut off by arms wrapping around me from behind and a head resting on my shoulder.
Soft music plays as the person sways us back and forth.
"Your eyes see right through me and reach into my soul. If you would be mine for one night, I would be yours forever..." The gentle and caring voice whispers into my ear, like they know it by heart, sending chills down my spine and causing a dark red blush to coat my cheeks.
"Tamaki, I..." I state breathlessly, all words and thoughts escaping my mind.
"Shhh, don't say anything..." He states as he turns me to face him.
I blush dark red as I realize he's leaning forward. My eyelids slowly start to flutter close... until a twig snaps. My eyes bolt open.
"What in the world is going on?!?!"
My head shoots to the left, and out from the darkness walks Kyoya.
