My Thoughts on Starlight Wonderland

It's out!! And I have mixed feelings about this. I'll start with a quick summary. Now, I haven't seen the last episodes of season 5, so I don't really understand what's going on to 100%.

The episode begins with this old man being chased by this Guardian Force around Starlight Wonderland. Aphmau, Aaron and their friends seem to be wanted and are being hunted down by this Guardian Force. Just the heads up, I don't know WHY they are being hunted. They seem to be hiding in this apartment, but are planning to flee further inland. That old man seems to have an important case of some sort, which he delivers to the group at the end of the episode.

These are some things I should take up:

1. Lady Irene...?!
You see that screenshot in the middle? That looks like Lady Irene...right? It's unclear what exactly it has to do with the plot, but it was this short clip in the beginning of the episode.

Uh....wha...? I'm confused. Plot details I'm missing. I honestly didn't think it was possible to make Aphmau a bigger Mary Sue. Guess I was wrong. It was also mentioned that Aphmau had healing powers and still seems to have no flaws whatsoever.

2. Ad break! (Or something like that)
Ok, Jess, I get it. You're trying to sell your merch. But leave it for the beginning or the end and not smack! In the middle.

I honestly found this quite disturbing. Is she trying to ensure that her fandom consists of seven year-olds screaming "I wanna buy a wolf plushiiieee!" on the streets?! I'd be worried if that happened. I get that a lot of kids shows have these "ad breaks", but there's nothing professional about it. It just makes it seem like Jess is trying too hard.

3. Garroth is a Werewolf....?
I know this was mentioned before.....but what. the. fuck? Is there a reason for this? I'm even more confused now.

Just to sum things up, I'm VERY confused. It probably has to do with the fact that I didn't see most of Season 5. And I do not intend to watch Season 5.

I didn't have such high expectations and this was pretty much what I expected. No character developments. An intense plot which seemed to come out of nowhere. No real Aarmau moments, to my surprise. And Zane and Kawaii~Chan aren't married yet, as far as I know.

As many of you have said before, I really don't give a damn. I moved on almost a year ago. I really wish Jess, Jason and their team the best, though. This kind of stuff could really get them far in the computer animation area. Those guys are talented with those things. We can't deny that.
