"NO!" Yoongi yelled, his weakened voice suddenly regaining the aggressive power that it managed to maintain at school. "No," he repeated, his voice as cold as ice. Jimin just looked at him with worry and shock but he didn't back down despite the fear that was basically radiating off him. "O-okay... it's okay, Hyung. I-I... um... y-you don't have t-to," Jimin stuttered out, trying to recapture the peacefulness and tranquillity of their previous moment. Yoongi nodded and turned away, snapping his eyes shut. He reached behind him and grabbed Jimin's hand with a vice-like grip, once again shocking the younger, making his eyes widen comically.

"H-hyung...? C-can I s-stay with you t-tonight?" Jimin asked with a voice as quiet as a mouse. He waited patiently for his answer but never seemed to get one. "Hyung?" he whimpered, trying to get the boy's attention once more. Jimin felt a small smile creep onto his face as he heard a soft snore from the older. Yoongi fell asleep. Jimin shrugged and climbed in next to him, not wanting to let go of the comforting touch of the sleeping boy. Jimin, still clenching onto Yoongi's hand, wrapped his arm around Yoongi's waist. He's too thin. He said to himself, adding another thing onto Jimin's list of worries about Yoongi.

Jimin took a moment to look down at the older who was sleeping peacefully in his arms. Yoongi was truly angelic, his pursed lips were sticking out in a natural pout and his eyes were screwed shut. His skin, to Jimin, was perfectly clear despite the many bruises that were hidden by makeup and the darkness that consumed the room. "Oh, Yoongi. What happened to you?" Jimin sighed before finally closing his eyes, pressing his left cheek tightly against Yoongi's bony back.

When Yoongi woke up he was shocked to find himself wrapped tightly in the arms of his supposed nemesis. He couldn't find it in himself to question it and relaxed once more in the comforting hold until it finally hit him like a truck. He was cuddling Park Jimin.

"JIMIN! WAKE UP!" Yoongi screamed, his voice loud enough to startle the young boy into snapping his eyes open and his mouth widening adorably in shock. "J-Jimin-ah... what-what the~ what are you~ I told you~ but you~" Yoongi hyperventilated as the memories from the previous night resurfaced in his mind, tearing it apart brutally. "Hyung," Jimin grabbed Yoongi's large hand once more, causing the older to freeze. "It's okay, everything's okay now, I'm here now, okay? You're okay, Hyung, calm down," Jimin's voice was as smooth as silk and calmed the older down almost instantly.

Yoongi couldn't understand it. His anxiety was a monster that he found almost impossible to control and fight against. He saw it as a killer that was holding him back but he couldn't do anything to rebel, yet just a few words from the boy he was supposed to hate was enough to silence it. Yoongi felt his breathing go back to normal and his heart returned to its usual balanced pace and it was all because of Jimin. Why Jimin? Namjoon had tried on multiple occasions to help him, to calm him down the same way Jimin had just done moments ago but to no avail. What was Jimin doing to him?

"You okay now, Hyung?" Jimin asked, his voice as sweet as the smile that he was staring down at him with. Yoongi only nodded in response as he continued to stare awestruck at the boy. He stared at his sunkissed skin and his fluffy orange hair, only longing to run his fingers through it. Jimin chuckled at him and brought him closer. "About last night... it's okay. I'm here for you. I'll do everything in my power to protect you from Suga and get that monster out of your mind once and for all," Jimin stated, looking down on the tearful boy with a look full of... love? "But Jimin... I want you to be happy, I don't wanna bring you down. Hell, I tried to kill you last night! I don't wanna hurt you again, Jimin-ah, I can't.." Yoongi replied, looking downwards as a few stray tears rolled down his cheeks.  Jimin shushed him and brought him closer.

"Hyung, that wasn't you. You're not a bad person, okay? It was Suga. Suga was the one who hurt me, Yoongi hyung. Not you," Jimin reasoned, gently coursing his baby-like fingers through Yoongi's soft mint hair. Yoongi was peaceful. He felt calm and safe in Jimin's arms and that was something he hadn't felt... ever. His life was full of violence and abuse and he'd never felt anything close to the amount of love and affection that Jimin's offered to him in the past few hours. And that scared him. Why? Yoongi was only ever used to pain and brutality, why would Jimin be any different?
