"Author's" Note:

This poem has a lot of stories behind it... I've lost 4 very good friends to suicide in the past 3 years. Going though losing someone close gives you a feeling that I can't descibe... You feel emptiness and depression and a heavy feeling in your chest that never seems to go away. I wouldn't wish that feeling on my worst enemy. It just really makes you wonder how they got that way. It makes you wonder how the person you once saw smiling could pull the trigger. It makes you think how it could possibly get so bad that their only resort was to leave forever. I just wanted to give a word of advice... If you have someone you care about, please never separate without saying I love you. Please never leave without hugging them. You never know when your last goodbye will be... So please appreciate what you have.

This poem bleeds read

for all those who are dead.

They left this world one by one

do they know what they have done?

Their families cry

and pray for their return

but now they are beyond the sky

As we all yearn.

They took a bullet to the head

or a slit to their wrist

not a word left said.

I wonder if they will know what they will miss

and as we all move on

their spirits live in our hearts.

I am sorry that you gone

and you fell apart.
