3rd POV
A few weeks after the incidentKirishima and Bakugou spent a lot of time together after the incident. The blonde would bring the others homework to him and would teach him what they were learning in class. As the time progressed, the better Kirishima got. The less they would see each other. The less time they would spend close to each other. As much as they denied it, they both enjoyed each other's company.
Last day in the hospital
The doctor walks in holding a clipboard and interrupting Bakugou, who was trying to teach Kirishima algebra. "If you just sign here, you'll be able to leave. If anything happens, don't be afraid to come back or speak to a councillor," the doctor states, handing the red-head the clipboard and the pen. He shakily signs it and hands the equipment back to the doctor. "You may leave whenever your ready!" The man says cheerily, walking out. The two boys look at each other, knowing this is probably the last time they will spend this close to each other. "So I guess I should be packing up, huh?" Kirishima starts, breaking the silence. Bakugou grunts in response, beginning to pack up the books. The two boys begin to pack away everything, getting ready to leave the room. Kirishima decides to try again to talk to him, "Thanks for teaching me in your spare time, you really didn't have too." Bakugou freezes for a second before beginning to pack away again and replying, "I know that shitty hair. If I didn't fucking want to be here, I wouldn't have fucking came you dipshit." Kirishima nods in understanding and the two fall into awkward silence. Finally they finish packing up and Bakugou guides Kirishima to his car as the red-heads parents are 'out of town'. Once they pull up in front of Kirishima's house, something neither of them were expecting happened. The red-head gasps lightly making the blonde look towards him. "What's fucking wrong?" Bakugou asks. "I wasn't expecting this. I- I think you should go..." Bakugou glares at the other male. As if he's leaving without an explanation. "Listen up, fuckface. If you think I'm leaving you here when you're acting like you watched your dog get ran over, you're mistaken. Really fucking mistaken." Kirishima forces out a laugh and looks at a car parked across the road. "My par- never mind. I'll see you sometime Bakugou!" He tries to put on a smile but it's obviously fake. Before Bakugou could say anything else, Kirishima gets out the car and walks into the apartment block, a fake smile still plastered on his face. Bakugou watches the boy walk into the apartment before driving off, confused and annoyed.
With Kirishima
Kirishima walks into his apartment, eyes fixated on the floor as his mother eyes him up and down. "Where were you? I've been waiting since 1 o'clock Eijirou!" She shouts, making the red-head jump. "I was... Out with a friend!" His cheeks flush red and he looks down, knowing he's lying. His mother glares at him. "You're lying you brat! I raised you! And this is how you repay me!" She gets up and slaps him. "I should've known you were good for nothing trash. Just a fucking faggot and that's it." Kirishima hangs his head low, defeated. He can see his mother walk towards his sofa to collect her bag in his peripheral vision. She picks it up and begins to walk towards her son and the exit. "You're a disgrace to the Kirishima name." She lets out a pitiful laugh, "Oh god, what your father think about this. I hope you're happy. Goodbye Eijirou." She spits his name out like a foul taste and walks out the door, slamming it in the process. By now, Kirishima can feel tears falling from his eyes. He knew. He knew as soon as he walked in she would snap. He used to be close with his mother, almost inseperable. Once he came out as gay, believing his parents would fully accept him, she and his father changed. A few months later he committed suicide and his mother blamed him for it. She still does. She hates her own son for being who he is. He walks towards the sofa, wanting nothing more then to sit down and cry, letting the tears fall freely down his cheeks. He looks over to the table in front of him, looking for tissues and spots his soulmate pen. Oh. His soulmate. He thinks back to the last thing he ever sent to them.
'I just can't. I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry. I'm sorry we've never met. I think that's for the best.'
Kirishima grabs the pen, writing out an extremely long apology.
I'm so so so so so so sorry for what happened! I wasn't feeling to great and I did something I regret. I probably scared you by not replying and not explaining what happened. Just know that I'm sorry and I didn't mean for you to be upset (that is, if you were upset).
The red-head puts the pen back down and grabs the tissue he was looking for in the first place, blowing his nose and chucking it in the trash can.
You're a fucking asshole.
Oh...
I was waiting for an answer for fucking forever. Are you alright? Blue.
Oh, so they weren't actually mad. He sighs in relief.
I'm fine, just someones unwelcome arrival. Other than that, I'm good. Again, I'm sorry.
He puts the pen down and closes his eyes, beginning to let sleep take over him. The image of a certain blonde appearing in his mind.
Authors note:
Sorry for not updating this sooner, I had to catch up on my coursework for school but I had some free time so this is the result.
