Ch. 10

Aaliyah

I ran far away from Bagheera and Baloo heading towards the man village.  There it was...the red flower. The humans were having a gathering of their own surrounded by the red flower.  I quietly grabbed a stick that had the red flower already on it ( a torch). I continue to run in the dark jungle heading towards peace rock. I jumped over fallen trees, rocks and streams. Not knowing I left a fiery trail behind me.

Bagheera

I knew I shouldn't have kept that secret from her. Baloo and I searched everywhere but we couldn't find her. "Hey, bagheera look." Baloo nudged me. I glanced seeing man carrying red flower. I knew it was Aaliyah. "Come on, Baloo. Let's go." I told him following the red flower.

3rd Person

Soon all the animals made it to peace rock. Then Aaliyah came to them yelling. "SHERE KHAN!!!! COME ON OUT!!! NO ONE HAS TO BE AFRAID OF YOU ANYMORE!!!"  The ten year old man-cub looked around for the scared tiger. " No...I think they are afraid of something else now. " The tiger sneered at her. Aaliyah looks over her shoulder seeing the blazing fire . "They are afraid of you nan-cub. No family. No friends. Now you have nothing. You are alone." The tiger growled. "NOW this is the law of the jungle." The bear spoke up coming out of the circle. "What is this?" I asked.  "As old and as true as the sky." Bagheera chanted. " And the wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the wolf that shall break it must die. As the creeper that girdles the tree trunk, the law runneth forward and back." The wolves said. "You fools, fine then rise up you cowards!!" Shere Khan shouted. "For the strength of the pack is the wolf, and the strength of the wolf is the pack." They all said. "I will have the man-cub's blood!!!"Shere Khan roared charging forward. The bear joined in a fight with me. But no one can defeat Shere Khan.The tiger manage to pin him down and clamped his jaws around the bear's neck. Soon the wolf pack charges in to fight the tiger. So did Aaliyah too.  

Aaliyah

Bagheera had me pin to the ground. "Baggie!! I want to fight with you!!" I whined out. "You cannot fight the tiger like a panther, you are not a panther. Fight him like a human. Now hurry, we will hold him off as long as we can." He said. It all made sense now. "Ok but baggie...." I cut off by hugging him tightly. I felt his paw on my back. "Be safe." I told him. "You do the same." He says running off in the direction.  I ran towards the fiery jungle thinking about the dead trees. So i began to look for one.  Once i found the dead tree, i cut some vines and a piece of wood. I looked over to see if Bagheera was alright but then it happened. I screamed loudly when i saw his body fall to the ground.
