Beautiful Tyrant

Chapter 8

During spring break my friends and I didn't see much of each other because we were all kinda busy. However I did basically spend the whole break with Dean and it honestly was some of the most fun I've had on a spring break in a while. We went to the lake and I jumped in and it was so cold I thought I was a Scooby-Doo cartoon where Scooby and Shaggy jump into a frozen lake, and they come out as human and dog popsicles. When I got on to dry land the wind was blowing so briskly almost as if it was whispering to me about something beyond my comprehension at the time. However when I looked up there Dean was standing right there in front of me holding a towel open and looking at me as if it were for the first time. He wrapped me up in the towel and it made me feel so safe and secure. 

"Baby what were you thinking you could get pneumonia,"Dean said in a very concerned and worried tone of voice. 

"I wasn't thinking. I just did."

"Well I think I could tell that."

I looked up at him and I didn't know what else to do other than just think how lucky I was. 

"So now that you are freezing cold and shaking so much that it feels like I'm in a massage chair,"

*Lydia laughs at the fact that unfortunately he was right*

"Are you ready to go back to your place?" he asked me.

"Yes and just get a nice hot shower and then afterwards cuddle with the man of my dreams that sounds like the perfect way to end a day."

*Dean smiles at Lydia and thinks of how lucky of a guy he is because he has the most beautiful and most wonderful girlfriend in the entire world and no one could ever compare to her*

"Alright then lets hit the road."

"Ok."

The whole ride home I just kept looking over at him and thinking "What in the world would I do without him?" Every now and then he would ask me "What? Why are you starring at me? Is there something wrong?" and I would just respond with "No baby there's nothing wrong at all I just love you so much I can't stop looking at you." He just smiled and said "I love you too more than you know."

After that I could not believe how in love I was with him. I wanted to be with him day and night 24/7.  

Now a days I find myself wishing I knew what was ahead of me.
