In less than ten minutes, Hoseok and Zico were inside their respective cars and ready to race. This one will be different according to Jeongyeon; the two will go out of the park to the surrounding dirt roads that will take at least six minutes to circle before they get to the finish line.
Since this was the main event, GoPro cameras and trackers were installed on the trunk and inside of the vehicles. Moreover, the video footage will be streamed live via Jeongyeon's website which anyone who was in the scene can access through their phones. This way, more bets can be made inside and outside of Seoul.
Lisa watched in awe as the show-maker set everything up in her hi-tech laptop. Her small team of eight other girls helped her sort things out: the logistics, the bets, the security, and whatnot.
The brunette couldn't exactly comprehend how their crew runs the whole scene from the ground up. But, one thing was apparent to her, the short-haired girl was able to revolutionize the underground street racing scene in South Korea.
"We are live," Dahyun, a cute blonde who looked like a real live angel, announced, earning a nod from Jeongyeon.
She then sauntered over to a specific spot in the middle of the two cars, "alright boys. We're Gucci."
To that, the cars roared to life while the sea of spectators cheered out loud. Lisa felt her heart beat faster than normal due to both excitement and fear, mostly fear. It was not because she didn't trust Hoseok's skills; it was more of her distrust in Zico's intentions.
"You two already know my one and only rule around here, but I'm saying it anyway. Don't get each other killed. You hear me?" Said the short-haired boss bitch. Zico only smirked in response.
Hoseok, on the other hand, saluted the show-master before turning towards the youngest and giving her a curt nod as if to say that 'he got this'. Lisa smiled widely in return.
Jeongyeon walked to the starting line. "Ready!" She yelled, the engines revved louder and louder. "Set!" A white flag was tossed up in the air as the crowd went nuts. "Go!"
Hoseok's car moved first, tires screeching against the asphalt. The two cars left clouds of smoke behind them as they shot off out of the themed park in no time. When they were finally out of sight, everyone whipped their phones out to watch the live feed of the race.
The youngest swallowed harshly, Hoseok's races earlier that night were nothing compared to this one.
Blackpink watched the race beside Dahyun who was diligently giving real-time updates on who was gaining speed on who. At the moment, Zico was winning the race.
